2. I've had this bass for a year from new and I'm considering putting it up for trade. This is an incredible bass but I would just like to try something different. Also, working in touring theatre I am constantly worrying about it getting stolen or damaged. Apologies for the vague nature of this post. This is very much a feeler to see if there is any interest in this bass as I'm not 100% sure what I would like in return, but if anyone has any reasonable offers at all, then I would be very pleased to discuss them. Happy to consider cash and a bass, or even two basses. The only stipulation is that I need another 5 string.

5. Tried one of these at the Bass Merchant when they had one in. Great bass and looks stunning.

7. Someone please buy this bass! It's far too good to be sitting around unplayed!
8. I played a T Bass for many years and have only just sold it due to requiring a 5 string. If only i had the money i would be all over this! Good luck with the sale!
9. I use an NS-5XL in quilted maple, probably the best bass I've ever played! This really is a bass for life and you won't find youself wanting or needing another one. Good luck with the sale!
10. why are you selling this? it's the best bass I've ever played!
11. thanks for the info, I've had a chat with a few shops who said they'd sold similar basses for around £475 so i'm going to put this up for £400 but am open to offers, trades or part trades. Thanks for your patience!
12. Cheers for the advice there, to be honest I'm not sure about how much these are worth as there were a few editions. Having a real job tracing the serial number. Off to do a bit of research and then I'll put up a price, although i would still rather trade for a 5 string. Thanks guys
13. is there really no interest in this bass? I'd quite like to get rid of it!
14. This amp has been very well used and has lost a couple of knobs, along with a bit of bending on one of the EQ's. The power button is also missing but it can be easily turned on by using something like a jack lead. I'm not 100% sure, but the active input seems a bit dodgy too. So, that's all the problems out the way! I always play through the passive input and the amp works absolutely fine. I've had it for a good 10 years and have kept it more recently as a practice/Travel amp, but am now about to invest in a GK 150 so have no need for it any more. Any offers (money or trade, although not another amp!) will be considered, as I appreciate this is a bit of a "well used" item, but as a practice amp or if you have the know how and time this would be fine. I'll even throw in a kettle lead! There's some info about it here: http://www.marshallamps.com/product.asp?productCode=B65 I am on tour at the moment in Woking for the next few days and then in Bristol for two weeks so collection is welcome from these locations. I'm afraid I cannot post this. I hope to have my camera back this week so can put up some pics soon. Any questions please PM or just post here. Thanks, Nick
15. this is now up on the recycling board. If you can collect it you can have it FOR FREE!
16. i'm really keen to get rid of this and will consider any offer at all! If you can collect from Woking this week or Bristol next week then get in touch!

18.
Just thinking along the lines of trying to make more money.... How about getting £5 each from members, and sticking it all in a Paypal account or the like, and then having a raffle for it? Surely more people would happily spend a fiver, and with any luck raise more money than one person buying it? Only my twopeneth. Regards, Pete.
That is a really good idea! I'd go for that
19. I have a Trace Elliot T-bass standard which has been sitting around for a while and would appreciate a new home. I'm looking for around £400, but would be most interested in a trade or part trade for a 5 string (i could be happy to add cash to the deal). The T-Bass is a rather rare short run instrument made in collaboration with Status and i have never seen another standard model before. This is an incredibly versatile bass and has done me well for about 8 years. I've never had any problems with it and have used it for all styles of music. More information can be found here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...t/T-Bass+4/10/1 There is strap/belt wear and some thumb wear above the front pick up, along with a few scratches around the edges, but apart form these superficial blemishes the bass in is good shape, especially considering that it has been well gigged. When I bought it about 8 years ago i paid £650 and this was second hand (although it was previously owned by a guitarist and had quite clearly not been touched!) Reason for trade/sale is that my latest job requires a 5 string, so i got a Spector NS-5XL, which is amazing and the T-bass is not ideal back-up due to it only having 4 strings. It comes with a Trace Elliot hard case. I am a touring musician so will be in many parts of the country in the next few months so should be able to meet in most areas. This was my first "good bass" so I will be sad to see it go, but it deserves to be taken out of it's case more than once a month! I've just put on some new super thin gauge galli strings, which i can leave on or replace with new standard gauge gallis. Any offers please PM me to discuss.
