Thanks for the message. By coincidence, I googled them a few days ago, and I couldn’t see any new posts re bass since 2018. I was originally interested as I was searching for bass notation, and they came up and the search. The demo lesson of the track I wanted was impressive, and I would have been interested if they were building a bigger library. I think I emailed them at the time, but no reply. Yes, you’re right; best avoided. Shame, as the bit I watched was very good. Cheers!

Hi, is it still for sale?

True, and thanks! Suppose I’m more interested in how they play, people’s opinions .

Just looking for views and price valuation please. I’m looking to buy a 4 string for home use and considering different makes. Obviously want a bargain ( don’t we all)- something active, easy on the fingers, perhaps thinner neck than normal with modern sound. I’ve just seen a Peavey Millennium ac pbx locally on FB. Looks in g c from pics. What are they like and what is a reasonable price in current times? Thanks!

Anyone subscribe to Muzento? Is it any good? Cheers

Well folks, I bought one, and ......I love it. Brilliant for the price ! Great for slap. A little bit ratterly but I did ask the shop to set action low as possible so can live with that. Very light - won’t be to everyone’s preference. No shoulder ache, or finger problems. Bought the retro cream, nice finish. Some critics might say it looks / feels like a toy but who cares. Id be interested to hear from any Ibanez lovers who can recommend the next step up model 4 string- loving the medium scale and neck compared to my very heavy 5 !

Selling my Boss Gt - 6b. Good condition, just gig marks and all works as should. With mains lead and manual. I’m only selling as I’m moving away- it’s been a great module. It will be available from 3rd November, but I then only have a tight window so anyone interested please allow for that. Happy with £80 plus Hermes cost. Thanks . I can post pics later.

Yep- proves the point exactly - thanks ! Wished I hadn’t been such an arrogant idiot years ago!

Just thought I’d chip in on this topic. I’ve played for many years and was always a snobby “perfect neck hand position” discipline. I’d scoff at lazy players who didn’t play with the perfect position ( but nobody can prove what is the least damaging long term wrist / hand position). Anyway, last few years I’ve developed fretting arm issues. Started with “golfers elbow “ symptoms and shoulder aching. Best advice Ive received is from a ex athelete who owns the health club I use, who takes a larger holistic approach to injuries. Gave me exercises to strengthen all areas of my shoulders and arms (not heavy weight lifting but light intricate movements and starches)and to reassess how I position my fretting hand, even switching from perfect position to thumb over the top at random as I want to, and doing a lot of “waiter “ stretches- and eventually cured my elbow and shoulder pain! I have tenderness in the part of my hand on the little finger side, but accept that’s probablly age related. So, my little contribution is- do whatever is best for you! The audience don’t care if you fretting hand is “correct “, or you have a big fat ugly thumb hanging over your e or b string! Oh, and of course rest when needed. Good luck!

And another drop to £3470!! There must be a new loving home in the Uk? I know we’re worried about Brexit and saving for Christmas, but I’m running out of time! I’m down to weeks now and not months. I must sell . Real investment instrument. Really hard decision, and obviously very sad, but time to pass on my beautiful Wal which I've owned for the last 20 years. I don't need put the details of the materials etc ( in one of pics anyway). Released July 1989. During my ownership it has been "on the road " very little and then only local gigs. I have tried to show useage marks in the pics. On the back of the body the varnish has worn off from rubbing. There a few small dings on the top body as per photo, and tiny marks elsewhere on body, with a few on the head as pic . No marks on back of neck. New strings just on, and plays great. Selling with a Madarozzo gig bag. Pleased to answer any questions. I would prefer to sell to UK buyer and for buyer to collect, as I simply don't want the hassle , or worry, of packaging etc.
