1. This is an interesting question. Have you had any feedback, and why would an amp be affected negatively from being stored on its side?
2.
I'd like to offer, my sister, all of my guitars, 1 kidney, my ford anglia.........etc' Stunner!
Bump for your sister.
3. Free bump. These are lovely basses.
4. Maple neck and it's in my birth year. Argh! Anyone wanting to buy a soul? £1375.00 + postage.
5. I bought this fine pedal two weeks ago! SFX: Nefarious laughter drenched in Ass fuzz. I can vouch for the Butler's credibility - I received the pedal in Londres the very next day in exactly the condition as promised: A tiny scratch and some velcro that was neatly stuck on. I highly recommend this pedal as well as the Woolly Mammoth. If you can, get both.
6. Thanks guys. Yeah I'm not sure why it took me so long to pick up my very own Precision, but I think I did o.k. with this one. @Lfalex v1.1: GAS certainly isn't a crime, it's only natural. It's what people of lower moral fibre often do to medicate their urges that are often criminal. Anyhoo - slightly off topic: Early model middle-aged mother for swop for decent amp or WHY. Open to offers.
7. Bought a Malekko B:Assmaster off him. Deposited the money, got the package the very next day. Well packaged and as advertised. Nice guy.
8. Hi there fellow Basschatters After an eternity of nights GASsing and perving over the visual stimuli, others' gear in the Market Place and fantastic new, free and objective insights on this very forum, I have decided that it's time to thank everyone for making this the truly awesome community that it is. So without further ado. Thanks fellas (of all genders). I've promised the Beedster a pic of my latest pride and joy: A 1964 Pre-CBS Fender P-Bass that is all original down to the last screw as far as I can tell. I'll have a professional guitar tech take a look at the neck date when she's going in for a new set of D'Addario Chromes and set up in Jan/Feb. A Warwick Corvette $$ 5 is now my main axe although my Fender Jazz with maple neck still sees a lot of play. My Crafter Acoustic doesn't. I've been playing bass since I was fifteen and now that I've turned thirty I'm attempting to grow the biggest beard anyone has ever laid eyes on. It's still early days but watch this face. Catch ya'all out there! Q
9. Hello. I'm also in the market for a compressor pedal at the mo and like you I've been searching far and wide for the holy grail. In theory at least, I think I've found it. I'm getting me one of them Maxon CP-9PRO+ pedals. They retail for about £160, but there's one on ebay at the mo for under £100. Here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...;Category=22669 For rave reviews go here: http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...P-9+Pro%2B/10/1 If you'd like to read up a little more about compressors, go here: http://www.ovnilab.com/index.shtml (I think I found this link on this forum) The Maxon is also featured under the impressive list of goodies. Now, young Eskimo bassist, may I sell you some ice so that I too can afford my compressor? Happy Squeezing!
