I 'doubt' you'd get a trade (insider knowledge seeing as how Terry has bought my Tech cab :) ) but sell your cab and these look pretty impressive!
yep they do look tasty..... !!!

  2.
Im honestly thinking though, We're in the process of getting a van - once ive seen what sort of size it is, would you be interested in a schroeder 1212R?
Possibly...... just need to persuade WOT to sell me his and then i'll be sorted !!

  3. Guys,

My Mint condition (virtually unused (home use only) Aguilar DB410 4 ohm classic black / silver

This is a fantastic cab..... only issue is it don't fit in the boot of my New 3 series BMW !!!

    £500

or trade for a pair of good quality 210's (8ohm)

Gallien Krueger would be great as i'm matching up with a GK head

Other good cabs considered....... may also go for 212's (EBS Genz etc)

  5. Hi Guys,

    here we go again.........

We Keep Re-inventing this U2 Tribute thing......Can't shake it off !! and our latest incarnation kicks off at the Office South Shields on the 20th June

3 of the members of "NE-U2" (semi pro tribute show) that toured around the UK for a couple of years are back together doing a very limited number of "hand picked" local venues.

    www.vertigou2.co.uk for more details

here's us in our "heyday" :)

  6.
Kev, you are the limit.
This cab is as new and it sounds superb. I had a small demo when he first got it, wow.
I have the IP310 and these cabs are extraordinary. Put another 8 ohm cab with this and you will have a world class 1000w rig.
Wouldn't you still need a pre-amp ?

  7. Sorry if this appears a silly question....

but have you tried it close to a solid wall ? I tried one in electro-music in the middle of the shop and thought it was terrible...... put it in a corner and the LF extension improved massively

however...... the Phil Jones Briefcase kicks it's ass at a similar price !!

  8. The thing about not starting a solo on the root is good advice, just becoming aware of some of this stuff myself !

    Thanks for starting this thread

I went to see Victor Wooten in Glasgow last year, I was bewildered with his solo-ing ability. One of the lads I went with is totally on the ball with theory and is an awesome player. He told me that any good player has a box of musical phrases that they can trot out in any key, most of their "improv" solo's are combinations of these phrases. Made sense to me....

I bet most of us could identify a Jaco, Clarke, King or Miller solo after a couple of note. I guess it's because of their "typical" box of musical phrases executed with "their" technique. The fact of it is, most of us will never invest the time needed to develop this approach.

    I'm just a copycat too.......

  9. Right......

    All PM's answered....

Fair bit of interest in an outright sale of the DB750 - how come when you advertise for a swap everyone wants to pay cash.... but if you need a cash sale everyone wants to swap / px something :)

still hoping someone comes out of the closset with a nice bass for me........

    Cheers

  10.
Is the DB410 4 ohm or 8 ohm? How much are you after for it?
Hi The DB410 is 4ohm

I paid £750 for it and it's never been played at volume as it's never been out of the front room....

I believe you can actually get these for £699, I have the option to chop it back into the shop and get £650 as a credit note.... so selling it isn't a neccesity.

errrrr....... I guess cash would give me more options so £550 (collected) would take it away

    Cheers
