1. Having played all versions and previously owned a mk2 5 string and currently two mk3 4 strings, I find mk3 to be the best ergonomically, weight and balance wise (for me personally). I do love the iconic look of the mk1 though.
 2. I asked a luthier this very same question and he said that it would be possible but it would be much cheaper and easier to just buy a J neck and put it on a P body.

 4. Hi Edward Thanks for your message and interest in the bow. The hair length is 55cm. Let me have a think about how best to do a trial of the bow, I'll get back to you on that in a few days. Cheers. Ian
 5. Finest Quality German style Double Bass Bow Made by Thomas Acker, bought new from Stefan Krattenmacher in 2008. Paid/Valued at $3000 Euro - about £2500, comes with a valuation certificate. The same bow today would cost nearer £2750, if not more. Silver mounted ebony frog and silver screw. Finest quality Pernambuco stick. Salt and Pepper hair. 76cm long, hair length is 55cm, weight is 141g. Very responsive and articulate, good strong and clear sound and fits well in the hand. Well suited to orchestra, chamber music and solo playing. This is an extremely good bow for a serious player - professional, advanced student or keen amateur, hence the asking price of £2000. New reduced price of £1850. Can come with a slim wooden case if required. You are very welcome to come over to try the bow. Thank you for looking.

 9.
I have one of these from Thomann and it is fine for semi-accoutic rehearsals. Suprisingly good for the money and weight, plus it has a proper detachable IEC power cable!
Yes, they're a great little amp for the money, quite underrated.
