    I managed to get four, in a blind panic and time running out, I named three others on the tickets who are fans. One of them can't get the time off work, so I want to go with their brother. We are all fans and I wouldn't/never have sold to strangers, but will they be able to go if names and tickets don't match? I'm the lead booker. I can't work it out from the terms and conditions. Do you have any clue? Thanks.

    Thank you The Boy! I've written a few but never had the balls to showcase them, I'm not a very good musician i just try and convey what's in my head, going to start a twitter I think to link them. I'm finding it harder to choose a picture then it was to write the song at the moment! Got it down to two I think!

    Many thanks to everyone and especially the kind words people have written. It genuinely has given me the confidence to start making more music. Some of the pieces are top notch, I've started going through some of the pasts months entries. I will pm a link for a picture of something today, no idea what it will be at the moment! Again Cheers

    HI all, wasn't sure if i was going to enter an effort this month, wanted to do a stomping guitar tune for this but couldn't get anywhere with it. Came back after a long nightshift, sat at the computer, looked at the picture, felt a little sad, and came up with a tune, wrote some lyrics with reference to the picture and then recorded it live (not sure if this is allowed so feel free to bin it if I'm breaking rules!). Apologies for my voice and its my first ever effort as a piano song! Listened to some of the efforts so far and they are all brilliant and proper compositions, mines a very simple effort but its based on what I got from the pic, hence it being called Bones! https://soundcloud.com/thevelvetknock/boneslive

    Loved Andy Rourke and his sound. Think I remember him saying he liked to do bass lines as a song within a song. Love the bass line in Barbarism begins at home. Jonny Marr said that the queen is dead album wouldn't have been possible without the bassists contribution.

    Hi all, stumbled upon thread this while looking for some advice on recording.     Thanks for the response, yeah it used to do thus once when turned on and then work normal. Now it's just a thud every second!

    Hello there, i'm wondering if anyone could help me here, you'll have to be patient as i'm going to explain this the simplest way I can, I'm not the most technically minded. What I have: A peavey Data Bass head 550 watt plug, and a lead that leads to a: Audio tec speaker cab, the lead feeds into one of two inputs in the rear of cab. inside the Cab is the two inputs that are connected to each other on the inside, then from the inputs is a positive and negative wire that is connected to an Eminence Speaker. The problem: When i turn the amp on a get a dull thud that repeats every second, i cannot get any sound from the amp at all, although it was working fine yesterday. Just a dull thud-thud-thud. I have no idea how the amp works (I apologise), I don't know why there is even two inputs on the cab and not one!! Would anybody be able to tell me what the problem may be? I would be very very grateful Thanks in advance Will

    Epiphone Dot for sale, this has had less than 50 hours playing time. Was bought a few years back and has been sat in my spare room collecting dust, could do with a new set of strings. It has a few marks which i've tried to show in the photos as best I can, other than them it's in excellent condition. It's collection only, or I can meet somewhere between Doncaster and Brum. Ideally I would like you to come have a look and a play which youre more than welcome to do at my home near Donny!     Hi there, could anyone recommend a tutor for the areas above? I split my time between the two, I've played for a bit but I'm still pretty rubbish and need a little direction!
