    Hi, this may seem an odd question but what's the thickness (depth) of the neck at the first fret? Reason I ask is I tried a indie passive jazz and it had quite a chunky neck which I liked so I could be interested if yours is a similar construction!

    Hi one and all, so nice to have to have found this site, it's great! I've not been playing long, about seven months and sometimes it feels more like self inflicted torture than playing an instrument. But I reckon I'm hooked for life now and hope to be able to contribute and probably buy a bass or ten from these forums in the coming months and years. Good to be here and a big hello :-) Paul
