I have something very special in my possesion that I have for sale. It's a lefty 1978 fender precision bass, all completely original with original case and labels booklets, even the original key. The bass was owned by Ed cosens who was the bass player for reverend and the makers. He owned it for 20 years, and bought from wunjo guitars around 2005. It was used to record the album "state of things" and all his solo stuff. Toured all over the world with it. Played it at Wembley with Oasis and kasabian. It's been on jonathan Ross, jools holland, v festival and loads of others. I have photos of him playing it, its on loads of YouTube videos, I even have a video of him playing it for me before sending it to me, aswell as a letter from him. It's even got the same strings on it from when he bought it 20 years ago, which means they are the very same strings that recorded the albums. Weight is 3.8 kilos, amazing for a 78. It was something I planned to keep forever, as it's not often you see such a story connected to a bass, but being a lefty bass it is super weird to play, I was going to reverse string it, but it seems such a shame to do that.

Here is this beautiful vtt relics jazz. Only just got it, but i had the chance to own something very special and had to do it. So this is up for grabs. Lightweight jazz body, entwistle pickups, northwest pots and loom. The neck is a vintage tele bass type, defintely a p bass profile. All in all its lovely thick sound, never planned to sell it but as i say, my dream p bass came up. £20 will cover shipping in a box, but no case or bag im afraid. Ill add more pics later

Hi chaps. Up for sale today is this unbelievably good D roc. I purchased this recently from basschat, I wanted to try out fanned fret. I have to say this thing is frikkin unbelievable! I gave it a full set up and cannot get over how stable it is, the action is so low, and i still think it could go a tiny bit more. It is so easy to play with these banjo frets. The multiscale is also amazing and I adjusted to it instantly. The tone is gorgeous. I can see why the dingwalls are so popular, they have created the easiest playing basses ever made. Previous owner resprayed it in a 3k white. Its not perfect very close up with a few bits of dist in it, but genrally he has done a great job andfrom a foot away it looks fantastic, and way better without the weird scratchplate sticker. Underneath is a tobacco burst, so the option is there to strip it, or relic it. But it looks so good as it is id keep it. I really don't want to part with it, but my quest for an old p bass has got the better of me and just have to get one. Pics are from previous owner with his permission. It comes with the epic dingwall gigbag, but if that's not of interest id do a deal where I keep it and knock some off the bill. Can post for £20.
