I'm an owner of a D800 and I just LOVES IT! Combining that with two TKS112 or PH610. Reading that you are using BFs and also owning S112. Have you compared those?? GAS coming to me so I probably need to try out the BFs... Hard to find here in Sweden though...

Bringing this post up again:) I see now at the Tech21 page that the Deluxe have a speaker emulationen defeat button!!! Is that the same as the VT Bass v2? When I search for a shop for buying this, all shops have a picture of the one WITHOUT the sim button. When did Tech21 release the Deluxe v2? I'm about to order a Deluxe v2, but I am afraid of that only being the first version...

Bumping this old thread... Anyone have more experience of trying something different pickup-wise? Anyone changed the preamp? I have a VS5 that I love, but it is too bright when recording and can't tame the highs with the bass' EQ...

I bought 2x TKS112 a while ago and I am really enjoying them!! They sound great!!!
