IIRC the victim would have been given a large payout from the newspaper for a conviction. I think this was also a reason the judge cited for throwing the case out.
Either way he's a disgrace and despicable
No that was the 14 year old who had already sold her story to the paper, and a large part of why her story wasn't believed. The 8 year old had happened in 1975, and it was deemed to old to deal with as it had happened 14 years ago and it hadn't come forward before (even though it had).

I saw the GG thing last night, I was surprised that in the 1999 trial they threw out the case of the 8 year old as it was too old, and that when it did get in the paper, the fact he had sex with a 14 year old when he was 49 was there as a sideline to the shocking reveal that he was actually bald.

no, because of the laws in USA his was able to pay off his accusers, but enough has come out since to convince me there's was something in it, if it had been Britain he wouldn't have got away with it
Of couse not, its not like if you had a title you could get away with it or something.

I generally go for one more from the road, which I think was probably the first album I bought of theirs.

In was going through the various pre amps and amps and noticed noise on all of them in their default state. I then tested my B1-four and that was about the same. None really deal breakers, and possible to fix even without the NR, but more than i ever heard with my Helix.
I always found the B1-Four to be quite noisy, noisier than the HX FX in general, but not so noisy you would actually hear it when gigging. Never even thought of the noise reduction as I assumed that was for external noise.

Can you grab and resize them as text boxes are resizable in safari on the iPad, maybe something got stuck as a default. I was on my iPad earlier and didn't encounter any issues,
Failing that, resetting your cache on the iPad might clear this. Do you have issues on other sites?

I'm not sure why the MPE would make sense if one was trying to play all the strings on the same MIDI instrument. I can see that it would be useful in some cases, but definitely not all. After all, if I play a chord and want it to sound like a Hammond organ, I'm better off with single channel and sending it all to a Hammond organ patch than MPE and sending bottom E (channel 2) to Hammond organ, A (channel 3) to pan pipes, D (channel 4) to orchestral strings, G (channel 5) to angel choir, etc. I mean, I'd obviously assign all the channels to the same patch but why not just do it with a single channel?
On MPE all channels would be one patch but the dynamics of that channel are sent per string. So if you do a string bend (again probably not with a hammond organ) why would you want all the strings to bend by the same amount - pitch bend is a per channel message, normally you would just want the bending to be done on the string that did it not all the strings.
Not having mpe reduces that flexibility and takes you back to why are you putting up with the downside (over a keyboard) of poor response when you are not using the upside of expression.

With tight integration of instrument and electronics, plus the fact this is a whole lot more modern than the GRs, the Jamstik generates MIDI more accurately. I don't know how the latest serial pickup and GM-800 module compare.
The GR pedals process the signal directly as well, but that is a cover on the tracking, not too surprising as the GR55 is 13 years old now, came out basically when the first iPad did, the speed of processing has changed a lot (although the speed of calculating a frequency from a wave not so much).
So it seems like the technology is the same, but a bit more modern and with the midi built in.

Sounds interesting. The MPE makes sense, not sure why you would want anything other than that on a guitar (but then I have several MPE controllers and synths)
So does it work in any useful way, and what does it give you that the Roland doesn't?

Oh that's interesting - they've set up the new MS-60B+ with 6 slots on each patch. Wonder why the difference between the two?
Because its one more innit - bound to be better

Sadly too true...their arrogance in thinking that they were untouchable is scary.
In savilles case, it proved correct.

When I was a kid, in the late 70s, early 80s, I was pretty blown away by this and spent a long time learning to play it. Effectively it became so iconic, it became almost a joke song that everyone used to shout when any band was going to do an encore, regardless of who they were. For years you would hear it yelled at any gig.
I have still heard it yelled recently so I am sure somethings never go away.

Normally on the right side (facing out) of the singer. Which means he often gets hit by the headstock of the bass. Which is why he is much happier since I got the bongo

As suspected - its the single quote on your name seems to upset stuff, probably as it has been there for a while. I removed it and it works fine now. Can put some kind of decorative mark there if you want?

The basschat 'app' is just a direct link to the webpage, there is no code and certainly no bank spyware, unless there is bank spyware in your web browser. As a result, there isn't anything to fix. If your phone doesn't like it, remove it and just use the website instead.

I don't care, I know what works best for me, and if they want something else, that is also fine as long as they buy it, set it up, run it and transport it!

Had this been here before?

Edit...
Oh yes it had, saw it on Facebook today and hadn't noticed the advert before! -
I am the drummer wear IEMs. The others can do whatever they want, and now we have a new keyboard player join, he has a monitor, so the guitarist is really happy about that, he has been complaining for a while he couldn't hear well, and I kept pointing out we had many monitor out sockets left if he wanted to do anything about it.

I absolutely love this tune. Just over 2 minutes of brilliance, especially the bass part (Tommy Cogbill?).
I actually didn't like the song until I had to learn the bassline, but quite a few songs have been like that!

Our guitarist doesn't use IEMs for that reason, but for me, IEMs are a revelation. The band are too loud to not wear hearing protection anyway, which means you already have to jam something in your ears and with the IEMs it gives me the confidence to sing properly, can't do it without them, it sounds terrible (not that it is great with them!)
