11. Spector ns5xl neck-thru , 35" scale ,Pau Ferro finger board and solid quilted maple body . I bought this bass of here about a year ago and since then it's had a full recommissioning from Chris May at Overwater , so the bass is in superb condition apart from the few knocks its acquired during its gigging life . EBS Reidmar 750

I've had one a few months now , very impressive , especially for the money . It's the ice 700watt power amp , the original press release was a bit confusing . Great review on YouTube . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MHG4kdocxqY
  13.
How did it go? Are they a good match? Frank.
Just finished the second gig , sounds great to me . Obviously it's not fair to compare them to my big rig , but they still sound very impressive without making several trips to the van !! DI post eq , very happy with that sound. The one 10 is on a combo stand angled up towards me, behind the FOH , the EBS sitting on top , brilliant mid range clarity which is just what i need ! Roger
  14. I have the cab on it's side , perfect fit . Unlike the big rig , which has horrific overhang ! Might have to change to three of the current BB's stacked on their sides
  15. I'll be trying out my one 10, which has just arrived, with an EBS Reidmar 750 tonight ! Quite excited !
  16. Last reduction ,£200 including leads and postage . If it doesn't sell i'll keep it and buy another preamp ..... Info from Talkbass site http://www.talkbass....-story.1012397/ http://www.talkbass.com/threads/ready-made-bridge-cable-for-peavey-ipr-series-where-can-i-buy-one.1040436/
  17. Bump ..£200 for the amp £12.50 for each lead .
  18. This amp is less than one month old and has only been used six times . I bought it to test a rack system project , which works, so i'm now going to upgrade. The groundbreaking IPR2 series utilizes an advanced design that allows Peavey engineers to dramatically reduce weight while increasing output power, reliability and thermal efficiency. IPR2 Series amplifiers are designed with a resonant switch-mode power supply and a high-speed class D topology that yields the highest audio resolution and efficiency available. This revolutionary amplifier offers the sonic superiority and unsurpassed reliability for which Peavey is famous, in an extremely efficient and lightweight design. Advanced technology and extensive protection circuitry allow operation with greater efficiency into difficult loads and power conditions. The DDT™ (Distortion Detection Technique) circuitry ensures trouble-free operation into loads as low as 2 ohms. DDT protects drivers and ensures that sonic integrity is maintained, even in extreme overload conditions. The IPR2's high-efficiency design allows the amplifier to operate at very low temperatures, and does not require massive heat sinks to cool. Features

2- Channel independent fourth-order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers
DDT
Revolutionary IPR class D topology
Detented input controls
Speakon output connectors
Light Weight
LED illuminated
Combi XLR 1/4" inputs
Rated Watts 2ch x 2 ohms: 1100 watts 20ms repetitive burst / 900 watts 1% THD both channels driven @ 1kHz. 19.
I have the Tecamp 900 and that does the job for me - clean and plenty of lows (I do wonder what cabs k50 was running his with, with Berg AE112s mine is fine). Another one to consider is the EA iAmp800. Still under 10kg but a fatty compared to most of the others on the list, hi-fi but with a sound I can best describe as creamy.
Two barefaced Big Babies with five string Overwaters. Not so much a lack of bottom end but more missing some very low frequencies (IMO), certainly when compared to my Blacksmith. However, the Puma is still a great amp , very small and extremely well made .
