My ideal bass rig on a budgie !!! ,would be a ashdown eb180 combo should pick one up for a tenner ,di lead a tenner ,tuner a tenner ,bass .some cheapo bass local collection fleabay buy it now ,yeap u guessed it a tenner total £40.00 that leave me £960 notes too book a holiday in cuba .then after the gig you could leave it there out of embarrassment and deny all knowledge of owning such a set up ,oh bugger that was my set up till a couple of years back ,my ideal rig , I'm getting there but I think it's cost a lot more than a 1000k but I'll probley sell it all cause I get easily bored

Mighty fine looking bass ,Lozz . If only I wasn't mile away I'd be tempted

-
Bump,It's my birthday price drop £180

We di ,but not always depends on the size of the venue really ,with bass being of low frequency suppose we are always going too struggle in the mix ,I use markbass head blackline head which I'm moving on , because it's only putting out about 140 watts with my purple chilli cab that's 8 ohms ,but I don't want too add another cab prefer too keep the weight down so bigger head it is mei thinks ,I have hartke head that's a real beast but alas I prefer the sound of mb myself
-
Yeah I do, think this my only answer now in ear monitors especially when playing more complex bass Lines!
-
Thinking about getting some in ear monitors so I can hear my bass lines, anyone throw any light on this , ta

Bump for Xmas price drop £200 notes delivered with hot covers padded ,much better than other covers out there
-
I have the hb vintage series jazz bass ,is it any good ,my honest opinion ,I've had this bass for nearly 12 months now , jumbo frets , natural wood colour looks very nice , pups not to bad a little weak but good enough to do the job in hand , I changed the strings to rotosounds half wounds only because that what I prefer ,I've used it at a few gigs with my band it's never missed a beat ,electrics are fine no crackling pots no sharp frets , for the money they are pretty good ,necks plays quit nice ,I was going to change the pups in mine but never bothered I still take it to gigs as my back up bass and use at home , I've moved onto short scale fender now ,only downside is it's heavy after a 2hr gig even with a decent leather strap you now you've been playing it ,mine cost about £110 notes delivered so for the money there ain't nothing too touch this IMHO
-
Cheers people , think I may struggle getting one ,May even look for a hohner with a head yet then cut the head off ,maybe not then
-
I'm gutted not the original ,oh bugger
-
I did 3hr gig last week myself never again lol
