1. Price drop £700 Hi bass people, I'm selling my 4 string California TM in beautiful brownbust that I aquired two years ago. I ordered it through Alan Greensall at Synergy Distribution and bought it from PMT in Birmingham. In the five months I waited for it I bought a cheap OLP, then played a Musicman Bongo...then realised i'm not so much suited to the neck of the TM. It's in as new condition, not a mark on it and the high gloss with ebony fretboard really sets it off. It comes with a Sandberg gig bag. I'd really like a sale but i'd consider trading for a Fender Precision, 70s Jazz or MM Bongo 4 in sky blue I'm based in Cannock, Staffs but regularly travel to Birmingham and Worcester. I'd rather not post but you're welcome to come try it out Any questions please ask Cheers Andy
2. Hi Which Sandberg are you looking at? I have a California TM4 in brownburst I might be interested in trading. It's two years old, immaculate as never been gigged or out the house except for a set-up. Regards Andy
3. Hi i'm looking to get together with some like-minded, forty somethings to play some covers and see where it goes. I've been back playing two years and realised i've never played in front of an audience so i'm thinking if not now..when? Not looking to set the music world alight (at 45 thats a pretty safe bet) Just looking to play some grooves and have some fun. Kind of in a commercial reggae/ska phase at the moment (Marley, Police, Madness) but can play some Hendrix, Bowie, Stevie Wonder, Doors, Cream, James Brown, Led Zep, Jeff Buckley, Small Faces, Beatles, ZZ Top, Fleetwood Mac (mk I & II) Smiths, Stones, Gil Scott Heron, Pretenders, Blondie, Jam, Jamiroquai. Blues...soul...rock...some funk...the usual stuff us olde folks go for. :-) I live in Hednesford near Cannock but work in Brum so anyone located in South Staffs/Birmingham/Wolverhampton would be good. Also I work for JLR so my shifts can be a bit restricting, although I do have weekends free and can rehearse some days in the week. Own bass gear and can travel. Please PM me if you're interested Cheers Andy.
4. I've just recently bought one for quite a bit more. This is a much nicer colour and a real bargain. Somebody please buy so I can stop wishing I'd bought this one instead :-)
5. Hi when would be a good time to try? - Andy

8. I bought Mikes OLP bass. A very smooth transaction as he kept me up to date with things and ultimately, i'm very happy with the bass! Would buy from (or sell to) him again with no hesitation. Cheers

SOLD

Hi, would you be interested in trading for a Squier vintage '77 modified jazz? Was bought from PMT in Birmingham only a few weeks ago. P.M'd my number in case - Andy.
12. Hi, Im trying to find a Bass guitar teacher in or around the Cannock/Rugeley area, without much luck so far. I'd say I'm at intermediate level but am having trouble progressing any further. Thanks Andy
13. Cheers Bert, just being honest, though I'm older and a little wiser now. Yeah I know discreet! :-) Trying to be cautious but there's too many shiny things on show!
14. Hello everyone, I'm Andy aged forty three, from Cannock in Staffordshire. I started playing bass at fifteen and have since then gone on to achieve sublime levels of mediocrity. I never had the patience to play for more than a few months at a time. A particular low was having to rescue my 80's Vox Standard out of the bin after a fit of pique (not that the dustmen could have lifted it) But now after reluctantly agreeing to help a friend in the studio I find myself busily working my way through bass-lines and i'm absolutely loving playing more than I ever did. I've just bought a tc electronic bg250, am eying up a Fender Jazz whilst trying to find a bass tutor in the South Staffs area. I love many types of music so long as it's played with heart and soul. Thanks for reading my ramblings. I look forward to talking with you wise bass folk p.s. Sorry for the lame username, it tends to follow me about..http://www.last.fm/user/inmate1571 Cheers.
