  1. Here's an old beaten up JV Squier Bass for sale dated 1983. The bass has the original scratchplate and pickup, I added a Babicz bridge. The knobs, string tree and the pots were taken from another old '83 Precision JV Squier. Tuners are age appropriate replacements by Fender. The body was refinished in white by a previous owner and the paint reacted strangely with my strap (see pics), neck is worn but feels nice to play, frets have been crowned (possibly a refret). Evidence in the neck pocket shows it was originally fiesta red and the grain of wood shows that it is made from sen ash. The neck plate has the correct JV serial engraved on it but its a replacement. Truss rod turns and there is a pencilled date and stamp on the neck heel. There are cosmetic dings a plenty - the condition is 'road worn' in the truest sense of the word. It's light, plays well and sounds great, especially with the Thomastik flatwounds I've had on it for some time now. Could benefit from a refinish to restore it to its former glory, but I've used it as is in studio and on stage and it's been a joy to play. Looking for a sale with collection but I'll post in the UK if necessary. No trades, sorry.
  2. String spacing goes from 15mm between the G and C strings to 18mm between the B and E.
  3. Hi. Yep I still have the bass. The truss rod is adjusted in the 'traditional' way from the head stock. They must have changed that on later TM6's. Thanks. Peter W
  4. This beautiful bass was made especially for the 2013 Music Messe show. It has been my principal bass for a couple of years, and served wonderfully (live, and in the studio), but its time to let it go. It's been kept in the best condition, and has a great range of tones, some of which you can hear here: https://www.youtube....h?v=dQvfypv-Ihc Specs: Neck - Bolted x 6 / Maple with vintage tint Fretboard - Rosewood, White Pearl blocks, 22 Frets Scale - 34" Finish - Buckeye burl top and matching headstock Hardware - ETS custom bridge, smoke chrome tuners Pickup - 1 x Delano T style, 1 x MM style Electronic - Sandberg 3 band active/passive bass/treble, passive tone control, pickup coil tap switch Weight - 4.2kg 9lb 7oz I'm in Cambridge, and collection would be ideal, but I am open to suggestions. I'd prefer to avoid shipping but it isn't impossible. Thanks for your consideration, and please don't hesitate to ask any questions!

  6. This is an Infinity 6 string fretless bass, and a great entry point into this kind of instrument. It features 2, coil tappable, humbuckers and a three band active EQ. It's in good condition, having seen a few gigs but was always looked after. I've used this for a number of pro gigs and it punched well above it's weight, certainly a lot of bass for the money. I'm sad to see it go but I'm leaving the country so it's in need of a new home. £120 collected from Cambridge but am happy to discuss delivery options. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.
  7. This is a Kay SG copy from the early 1960s. It's in amazing condition for it's age (tuners in good shape, neck nice and straight) , and is an entirely playable and great sounding bass. I've used it for a number of pro gigs and recordings where a vintage tone was required and has always performed wonderfully. I'm sad to see it go but am leaving the country so it needs a new home! It comes in a lovely, more recently made, hard case: ideally it would be collected from Cambridge, but I'm frequently in London or am just generally happy to discuss delivery. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions! [attachment=164756:DSCF8624.JPG]

The central neck works like a short-scale 5 string EUB, and the other 10 strings I usually tune specifically to the song at hand. This is a challenging instrument, but I speak from experience when I say that if the opportunity arises to gig with this, and you pull it off, you'll be the talk of the town. 9. This is a great combo, bringing together the popular HA3500 into one unit with a punchy, and capable, 4x10, 4 ohm, speaker system. It has had its fair share of action but I've never had any problem with it, and is still in a very good condition; a very powerful and decent sounding rig for the money. Only selling as I'm leaving the country! --- -Amp features tube and solid state preamps, bass, treble and contour controls, 10-band graphic EQ and variable compression -Cabinet features 4 x 10" traditional paper cone drivers and a high frequency compression driver -Solid braced cabinet construction, recessed side handles, and heavy duty casters --- £300 collected from Cambridge, although I'm often in London so something could be arranged.
  10. Hi, I'm new here, but I'd be interested in the bass. How quickly do you think you could get it to London? Cheers
