A big nod must go to the Peavey Databass combo... very compact, 450 watt digital power amp with processor controlled low end along with DDT compression going through a 15 black widow speaker....blew your socks off!!!...all this 25 years ago...how ahead of the time were they!

From memory, that cab is pretty efficient so even a 200 watt amp would have good results, I would still go for 300 and above as you may want to change/upgrade your current cab.

Love the recessed handle and looks not to be too much of a dust trap ( nothing a dry paint brush couldn't fix )....cabs look great btw.

Love these basses but wish they had 21 frets.

It's scary how good these basses are, and for this price a total bargain!

Some fantastic mods there, the headstock looks great and finishes the bass off nicely

Up for sale is my Ibanez ATK 300...bass in amazing condition and seen very little use ( still has the plastic control instructions under the knobs!).... very versatile and does do an aggressive Stingray type tone plus much more.
Construction is very good, having a three piece neck, the middle piece being quarter sawn. two piece ash body....bass is a sensible 9.2lbs in weight.... happy to ship at buyers risk, will be well packaged though!!

Didn't think i would do this! but up for sale is my stunning Jazz bitsa comprising of quality parts:
usa highway one alder body (refinished in Firemist Gold with a touch more sparkle in the finish)
Alparts block and bound neck with lovely rosewood fingerboard, profile is meatier 70s profile (these alone are £400 plus)
70s fender tuners
Fender custom shop 60s pickups

Dragonfly FAT-J5 - *SOLD*
in Basses For Sale
Posted · Edited by ebenezer
Up for sale is my Dragonfly FAT-J5 , this is a super jazz in the truest sense of the word, the build quality and attention to detail is outstanding....The only reason for sale is an itch in the form of a Musicman Stingray 5h that must be scratched !....the bass is in lovely condition bar a couple of small marks....bass plays and sounds wonderful!.....specs are as follows
Body- 2 piece alder
Neck- 5 piece maple/ walnut ( maple quarter sawn )...15.75 radius 34 inch scale along with stainless steel frets which adorn a flamed maple fingerboard.
Hardware- GOTOH....404-5 bridge and GB30 resolite tuners (nickel)
Preamp- DFBP-3.....looks complicated but is a doddle to use.
Included is a Dragonfly semi-rigid gig bag which is very good quality...
pickups-dfsb-5 with custom walnut covers and flush pole pieces.
Looking at the bass, the attention to detail is amazing, little things like the forearm notches on the body, the maple cap on the headstock, the shape of the rear control cavity cutout, bone nut etc...Weight is 4.1 kgs
Will include uk shipping in with price although this will be at the buyers own risk....will be very well packed though!.....failing this, you could always organise your own courier.
There is a video on youtube of this very bass.
