Fantastic basses!....the only fly in the ointment was that some were on the heavy side but yours at 9lbs is great.

Don't right off cheaper brands!...were it me (and it isn't)....I would order two donlis alnico mm pickups, based on Seymour Duncan items apparently, well made and cheap as chips....not many reviews of bass pickups, but plenty for guitar!.... just a thought 👍

My LM2 does the same after a lay up of 3-4 weeks but when used regularly IE weekly is ok.

Up for sale are my EMG jvx pickups, and 3 pot circuit, great condition.... including shipping in price (UK)

Neck update!..... well, with a bit of persuasion and two more turn's of the trussrod along with a fret dress and bass is playing well !.... originally thought the neck was toast,... just shows you what can be rescued 👍

Cheers, will have a look at that.... it's a musicman style wheel affair so possibly could be welded.

Well, i really dropped the ball here!!......bought said guitar and it seems the trussrod is really stiff......these are great basses, but finding a decent replacement neck will be nigh on impossible and being a bass worth £200-300 at most, does anyone have any pearls of wisdom they would like to impart ....Thanks folks.

Can't believe this is still here, amazing value for money, if I didn't already have 3 five string's I would have bought it.

Spennymoor...

Yes, 18v and the case is an earlier mm case which I received the bass in, does the job though....bass 2018 I believe, but will check.

Up for sale is my lovely Ray special.....the bass has no chips, dents or scratches and is in beautiful condition bar a small scratch on the E string tuner key...the bass features a roasted maple neck and fingerboard and a nicely figured natural 2 piece swamp ash body, yes there are more snazzy colours, etc, but they have to use quality wood for a natural finish!.....Bass weighs in at 7.9 lbs......Will come with a hard Musicman case (a few marks on the case)......Will include UK shipping in with the price (this will be at the buyers risk but rest assured it will be well packed for shipping), alternatively you could arrange your own courier if preferred.

I agree, trace watts are big hairy arsed watts!....I had the ah300 back lit lead sled... great amp.

The hartke is still a nice cab!....were it me, I would possibly upgrade the amp to the TH700....to me, that would be way more beneficial than swapping the cabs.
-
The SL12 maybe slightly better, but to me, i would stick with what you are using.....you would be spending money for the sake of it.

Cheers for that, had a quick look and couldn't find any.... possibly not available anymore?

Thanks for that, yes I did wonder.

Anyone able to do this and get the correct finish.... just a thought?
-
I think ivory fret markers would have been better with the darker roasted maple boards.

I currently use the genzbenz NX2 212 cab and like it very much....doesn't do the sub bass thing but i was never keen on that, i much prefer a balanced tone which this does really well.....I must say, I like the angled baffle idea!

Cab looks great!....can i assume the Silverstone is equipped with the 12pr 320 driver?....also, it might be nice to rebate the handle into the top although i suppose most class D amp feet should clear the handle .
