  1. The person in this clip demonstrates the dry mode into the filter. Sounds okay-ish but whether it’ll replace a dedicated envelope filter I’m not sure.
  2. Super funky envelope filter that has its own unique sound. But, I have too many filters and I’ve just splurged on another MXR pedal so need to recoup. This is one of the original purple sparkle finishes from the earliest run. The purple sparkle makes it 15% funkier than the current version. It is in excellent cosmetic condition on top but the base plate has some scratches likely from where someone used an implement to remove some old Velcro. I’d describe the base plate as fair to good condition. £75 including postage. It also come with the original box and instruction manual.
  3. Snagged one from Guitar Guitar. Will be reporting back soon 😬
  4. They’ve pitched this really well. Not a full on synth like a Future Impact or Source Audio C4 but more feature rich than the EHX Mono Synth. It seems closer to the Meris Enzo but far better executed. I think it will sell well.
  5. This is an incredible phaser and there is probably a very, very small number in the UK and likely Europe!
  6. Moog have a pretty good Summer sale on the Moogerfooger VST. Grabbed the MF-101. It’s pretty good! https://software.moogmusic.com/store

  8. Great to see him building instruments again. A batch of 5. I wonder if these are effectively prototypes and there might a be cheaper Made in China version in the not too distant future. I’d be interested in that!
  9. TC Electronic Flashback delay has a lot of flexibility. Reasonably cheap second hand.
  10. The newer versions of the Barbernera have the fast/slow switch as an internal switch. I never found much use for the fast switch on bass 😬
  11. The Barbanera is indeed a fantastic filter. I had both the Barbanera and a Moog MF-101 at the same time. In a side-by-side comparison, they sounded identical but the Barbanera can do more. Kept the Barbernera and sold the Moog! Good luck with the sales and congrats on the wedding!
  12. Andrew is an absolute gent to work with. I love my Anaconda custom.
  13. Great to hear that’s it’s been a positive experience so far. I’ve been a long time user of the og Enzo and I’m excited to try this version out now that stock has landed in the UK. I’ve just sold my little Enzo to partially fund the X. I know you’ve been using it with your EUB but have you tried the poly mode yet? I found the original didn’t track bass chords at all and hoping the X will be better. Congrats on the new pedal!
  14. This is a killer combo. The filter on the Ottobit Jr can do some nice juicy filter sweeps with an expression pedal. if I didn’t already have both, I’d buy them!! Haha! Good luck with sales.
  15. This is a really great synth pedal that has a multitude of sounds from thick Moog-ish mono synth sounds, to screaming leads to Whammy-like pitch shifting in dry mode using an expression pedal. There so much this pedal can do to list here but the information from the Meris website offers a great overview: https://www.meris.us/product/enzo/ It also has a poly mode but I’ve never been successful in getting it to track chords on bass. It works well with guitar however and line-level instruments like keys. Ive owned it from new and it’s only ever been used at home; as such its in mint condition. It also comes with the original box and manual. Selling to raise funds for the recently Meris Enzo X which has even more features! Price includes next day delivery with Royal Mail Special Delivery. Some selected YouTube clips: This is a fund raiser but I might be interested in trades for an Origin Effects compressor or one of the Origin Effects Bassrigs.
  16. That’s a shame. Hopefully it’ll be a straightforward return. I wonder if Behringer is shipping these with a 9v battery included. Might be worth opening it up to check and removing if included. Are you asking for a replacement or refund?
  17. Apparently the B-Tron does also run on a 9v battery. You’ll have to send a letter of apology to Behringer, @ped. It might make a change to the usual ‘cease and desist’ letters they receive 😛
  18. Hoping any current Dunlop Flatwound users might be able to help me with this. I recently put on a new set of the Dunlop Flatwound Short scale on my Fender Mustang but the silks at ball end are sitting on top of the saddles and causing some chorusing and intonation issues. Strangely, this new set replaces an identical older set of Dunlop Flatwounds I bought in 2018 when they were first released. The silks on the older set are shorter than the new set and didn’t sit on top/over the saddles like these new ones. Im wondering if I received a faulty set or if all the newer strings now come with this longer silk as standard. If anyone has a newish set currently on their bass, could you measure the silk length at the ball end? It would be so helpful in making a decision to order another set in the future. Thanks in advance! I’ve also reached out to Dunlop via their website twice and waiting on hopefully a reply soon.
  19. It’s all sounds like the joy of a vintage pedal. Big, some unusable features, and a little noisy at certain settings. I still want one.
  20. It’s hopefully a relatively straightforward pedal to dial-in compared to other envelope pedals. I think concentrating attention on only adjusting the Gain control and finding the spot where the envelope begins to trigger/open will be a good starting place before adjusting other controls. You could also try the other controls as below whilst only adjusting the Gain; starting with the Gain fully counter clock-wise and gradually moving clockwise until you start to hear the filter open up. Mode: LP Peak: 7 Range: Low Drive: UP A looper pedal like the TC Electronic Ditto can be really useful in dialing in a pedal by freeing up your hands! This video might help to get some ideas. https://youtu.be/3xBLTzmDVbA?si=3Enn54E3QkmXxvsf
  21. The Behringer Dual Phase is also reduced; even cheaper on Amazon. I tired it briefly and it was surprisingly nice. It’s also almost the exact same dimensions as the B-Tron. Would make a nice pairing. A mini dual modulation Behringer board has an odd appeal to me! I do love wasting time mocking up boards with the Rock Board configurator. https://www.rockboard.de/en/boardConfigurator/?id=7956400773
  22. Some guitar demos beginning to trickle through. The poly presets sound wonderful. The mono patches less so.
