I played this again today and noticed the bass volume pot is a bit scratchy/non linear (albeit fully functional once it is set). Probably just that its been barely touched over the years and needs some contact cleaner. To reflect this and to attempt to drum up some interest, I will lower price to £1900 inc UK delivery

Now £140 inc. UK delivery

Good price too...
Thanks Nik ... but I am willing to entertain a very close offer.
PS, I also swapped the strings to a nearly new set of DR Hi Beams which suit the bass really well (get your clank on) and allow for lovely, low action.

Not sure what the available power from the TRex is but could you just add a Gigrig supa-nova to convert a 9v supply to 12v?
That looks like a great option! Many thanks for the suggestion

Hi I have the small TRex Fuel Tank power supply on my compact pedal board (Pedaltrain Metro, I think). Until now it's been great as each of my pedals (tuner, fuzz, chorus, Sansamp) run off 9V. However, I have just bought a tube preamp DI which will replace the Sansamp and needs 12V/500mA.
So my question is: what would you recommend as a compact and/or low profile, reliable power supply for (say) up to 5 9V pedals and one 12V high draw pedal? Preferably not too spendy! Thank you in advance

Roy just bought my Wilcock Mullarkey bass. Very friendly, super quick transaction (less than 24 hours from first PM enquiry to payment and pickup). Recommended!

Close but no cigar.
I would have guessed Charlie Haden, as he was such an interesting bassist and character .... except, sadly, he is no longer with us 😞

Really good nick Rick (I'm a poet). Some surface scratches on rear but no dings or meaningful dents anywhere. I added the treble pickup bezel. Comes with original pickup cover, plus original hard case, polishing cloth, key etc. Its too heavy for me at 9.6 pounds (4.35kg), albeit pretty standard for a Rick. 48 hour courier included or collection in public space in SW13 London (Barnes) only.

After discussion with a couple of potentially interested parties, just reaffirming that I am happy to either courier or meet in a public space in SW13 (Barnes) London. Also, I am again wondering if this is a dumb idea and I should sell another bass instead (watch this space...)

Noooooo! That bass gave 19 years of good service ... in my hands it played The Half Moon, Putney and Spice of Night, Soho among others. So sad to see it's demise but hopefully some BCers will take you up on your kind offer Jack

Re-listing as needs must (expensive car bill, not covered by insurance), plus I still haven't found a new band so I don't need 4 basses (yes,I bought another since I closed the ad last time....).
This is a beauty and you will not regret it (I will). Now £1800 including delivery in UK (vs new cost of £2650) or will knock off £25 for collection in a public space in SW13 London

This page suggests tea or coffee to stain bright white scratchplate? Sounds like a low cost easy first try at home option before resorting to actual dyes etc? Just sponge said beverage on edges and see what happens, can'ts see much could go wrong?

If you share a photo of the peg box and the bridge, so we can see the silks and the type of string, someone may well be able to identify them (eg red silks usually mean Spirocores etc).
