  1. Hello Please see details below of a fundraising campaign for 4 charities. The video release which hopes to generate the voluntary donations is timed to go live at 8pm Sunday 24th. Please feel free to share the campaign if you feel it’s something you’d like to do. Thanks David there’s also some gratuitous 73 P shots too 😁 – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – WISH YOU WERE HERE CHARITY SINGLE The Lockdown Choir… Back in October 2020, as we faced increased social restrictions and, at the time, the possibility of further lockdowns, four musicians based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne recorded a poignant version of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here, with the aim of getting as many other musicians singing vocals on the track. The project came about as a fundraiser for musicians and crew: they have provided entertainment and solace for many, both before and during the pandemic, and the choir gave the opportunity to provide some small token of help and show appreciation for those that have provided so much for us in the past. The plan is to use the single not only to fundraise for musicians and crew but also to raise awareness of the crisis facing themduring lockdowns, highlight the serious effect this is having on everyone’s mental health, and, most importantly, the people who have been lost throughout this pandemic. The final video track features 105 members of the ‘choir’, not only from the UK but also contributions from the Netherlands, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, New Zealand, North and South America, Canada: truly a global choir. The vocals of all the choir were recorded using phones and computers, plus 25 members of the choir also recorded individual videos; all the elements were then edited to the final version you see today. David Anderson, project organiser, commented “Everyone is missing someone… wishing they were here. Whether it’s people we’ve lost to the pandemic, friends who’ve passed and we couldn’t say goodbye to, or just isolated from friends and family,” going on to say “I think everyone globally has felt the need to express this, and I felt this choir would provide an outlet. I wanted the song to have 100 voices – it seemed important to reach that number, as it matched the feelings of those involved and there are few things as moving as so many people singing with such emotion.” The video single is available via YouTube – end of release –

  3. Thanks, I was thinking of selling my 78 Walnut but it was only to buy a specific bass. I tried them both side by side and decided not to sell it. cheers
  4. HH IC100S New Front Panel. I bought 2 of these for a restoration, both were manufacturing 2nds with slight imperfections in the silver backing. They were both very similar and this is the surplus one. I’ve tried to photograph the imperfections but they’re not too obvious. £10 plus postage.
  5. SPARES OR REPAIR! HH vintage PA 100 head. Cosmetically it’s missing one end cheek and two knobs. The amp does not work. Powers up but squeals. Everything is inside including the reverb tray. could be quite an easy fix or used for spares to renovate another HH price £20 plus postage Any questions please ask. Thanks

The cab was owned by a local college, hence the asset numbers but was bought by me in an equipment sale around summer 2018. Since then it’s been used a few times in my rehearsal room. It’s a great sounding cab. It’s quite large and heavy but benefits from both. Dimensions 65 x 37 x 103 Weight 46Kg Collection from Byker area of Newcastle or we could arrange a courier and I’d pack it well. £100 no offers Thanks

  10. Quite happy to package it up very well and post or could meet halfway thanks
  11. Ditto. This looks like a fantastic pre, I’ve got an Alembic one and a home made Femder stack one but I’m a sucker for ACC gear and would live to know a bit more about the 360 pedals please. thanks
  12. Vintage 1973 HH Electronic IC100S Head Amplifier 100w, as used by Roger Waters, Marc Bolan and Wilko Johnson. Very good condition for its age. It’s is fully working and has a new old stock Perspex front panel. Postage at buyers expense or could meet halfway for fuel costs. 13. Up for sale is my super rare, 1987 Kramer Ferrington Electro Acoustic Bass. The bass is in excellent condition for a 33 year old instrument with no chips or dings but just light scratches to the lacquer from playing. This bass is amazing. It has an electric bolt on neck which affords an incredibly low and playable action that I’ve never experienced on any other acoustic bass. It has has a new nut, new bridge saddle and piezo pickup and has been set up for my preference. The fingerboard has been cleaned and lemon oiled and the frets have been cleaned and polished. There is no case with the bass so collection only or I could meet you halfway for fuel costs. Any questions please ask. Thanks
  14. PRICE DROP £40 Carlsbro Procab 115, 200 watt, 8 ohms. Late 70s very good cosmetic condition for its age. Front grill has some tears in it but the tolex and edge trim are almost unmarked. Full working order. Collection from Byker NE6 or you’re welcome to arrange your own courier. Any questions please ask. Thanks
  15. He seems to be using a pair with matching extension cabs here.
  16. Dynacord BS412 amp. 250watt (350 peak) combo From the 80s. Comes in it’s own flightcase. Unbelievable German high end studio quality. Managed to get this one after searching for many years and a quick day trip to a very rainy Skegness secured it. Someone had over painted the flightcase aluminium but that came off with a blunt flat blade driver. Its a great sounding amp with a fantastic onboard compressor. I’ve never really liked onboard ones but this is fantastic. I tried one at a rehearsal room years ago and saw many on touring band stages so I presume they were popular in hire stock. After buying many amps and cabs I lusted after years ago and being bitterly disappointed when I tried them, I wasn’t holding out much hope for this but it’s every bit as good as I remember, if not much better.
  17. I love mine and if I had the spare cash I’d have this in a heartbeat. Amazing instruments, fantastic tone and playability and as you say, very rare due to the limited production period and collectors are just starting to sniff them out.
  18. That is beautiful 😍 congratulations on the score. They are a hidden gem in the vintage world. I can’t believe more people haven’t discovered them.
