2. i saw Incognito with Mario at the Jazz Cafe doing this track.. blew me away..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGcPOlp6QB4
3. i so on that.. thanks Floyd... i love Julian Cramptons playing, as do i love Mr Biondi's voice
4. i would never put an instrument in a soft case while flying to another country.. hard case all the way and the best strap in the world(imo) is the Sadowsky.. ive tried every strap in the world and i think Sadowsky is the best and most comfortable
5. his solo stuff is sooooo cool.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt6ZcPprkhA
6. this is a great interview/s parts 1 to ? with one of the best musicians/band leaders in the world.. the wonderful thing about this man, is he knows nothing about musical theory!!!! just goes to show..
7. i have always loved this band.. seen them live so many times.. always killer bass playing, horns, all round production. the bass playing on this first track is off the wall from Ernie Mckone. he starts off pretty laid back but man when he improvises, this guy can play the electric bass
8. It's my birthday tomorrow, so my wonderful girlfriend bought me a new gig bag.. i got my present early. Alot of you guys already know about this bag... got to say i'm very impressed.. i've used hard cases in the past and also had a tribal planet gig bag.. the tribal planet was quite expensive but has got nothing on this bag a hard case was great but not very comfortable. these bags are really good. lots of protection.... i recommend them to anyone who can afford to pay the price. they are superb bags..

10. i had a VJ4 with a beautiful quilted top.. loved the build quality, the playability... didnt like the tone... seemed to lack any character... very clean tone... no doubt though, they are awsome basses..
11. im loving this guys playing.. such a great groove player.. .. his name is Gene Perez.. hope you all enjoy.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLJ3RDTvmVc
12. i love there grooves for sure, but i also love Niles's guitar playing on this classic.. its off the wall great guitar playing in my opinion.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EUNXI9HDCD4
13. every person that you guys have mentioned were a superstar, but really there all now underground... now we have.... Rhiannah, Lady Gaga, erm i cant think of any more.. i rest my case.. i dont want to be negative but musicians dont have to work hard anymore.. its so easy to make music.. and its so easy to get ears to listen to the sh*t... in the 60/70s there were bands like the beatles at number 1 and steely dan in the US charts... there is knowone special anymore... steely dan and the beatles made some of the most compelling music of all time... whats happened.? there is no special music in main stream anymore... you know why.. because music is so easy to make, and there is money to be made... when someone slowly waters down my beer, im thinking, this doesnt taste as good as it used to..

17. ive seen lots of fantastic live bands but nothing quite like this.. imo... they are the sh*t. the bass solo's and drum solos's are well worth the wait..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OTZdI0HG7Oc

19. love Lalo Schifrin.. very cool score stuff he did..
20. great stuff.. !!... have only seen incognito live out of all of those.. great to see someone with so much knowledge about these bands.. they get forgotten sometimes.. rod temperton in my eyes is real master of soul music..
21. good call Beta Funk.. mentioned Beggar and co and light of the world.. central line were very cool..around at the same sort of time though.. the first band that Bluey constructed was a band called the Warriors.. so ive just contradicted myself.. can i find there music.? really hard to find....love heatwave, but the only english man was rod temperton
22. this was a sh*t bass literally, ended up round this guys house once at a party, he was a guitarist, but he had a bass.. was an encore p bass.. im not joking when i say it had dog sh*t all over the pickups... why, i will never know... strings were about as dead as they could be, not really the fault of the bass as there not hugely bad instruments if set up correctly.. but a bad experience all the same
23. i think that maybe its just your taste, and not the fact that its staid.. maybe.? richard bona is much more than just solo jazz fusion..each to there own though
24. this is great stuff from these guys http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SJGYo03MxI
