  3. Up for grabs goes a pearl-white slim-necked beauty from Ibanez - PL 5050. You don't ask ladies their age but the serial number doesn't lie - she's from 1986 and is still in a great shape for her age. Ebony fretboard with 3-ply white-black-white binding looks great and feels smooth, neck is factory oil-finished maple, very fast and nice to the touch. Neck is straight, truss rod works fine, frets are in a great shape. You can get wide array of sounds,  from modern slap bells  to classic punchy tones.

Sending within Europe possible, ask me for cost estimate.

  4. @NikNik: good point, most of Web search results say B3 or B4 for 3-pot preamp and smaller brass bridge. B2 had 4-pot config and gotoh zinc-alloy bridge. Possibly mine is B4 but B3 is not far from the truth, I guess.

Mystery solved, I found this Blade leaflet copy, small but clear enough:

  5. Up for sale goes a very nice made in Japan Levinson Blade B4.

Used but still in a great shape, straight neck, low action, responsive truss rod. It sports swamp ash body in a beautiful transparent honey gloss finish, one-piece maple neck with ebony fretboard and unique active circuitry with additional hum-cancelling coil. It carries small amount of tiny dings and scratches from normal use.

Gary Levinson's Blade basses were one of the 90's super-jazz designs and IMHO one of the most successful.

    More pics will follow.

It comes with an old hard shell case which still provides relevant protection.

Sending to Europe possible, ask me for cost estimate. Now with limited free shipping.

  6. Up for sale goes mid '80s Riverhead Unicorn RUB-1090 bass. Originally black it has been refinished at some point and it was a decent paintjob. Everything works fine, neck is straight with nice dark rosewood fretboard. The only issue is a significant fretwear on lower frets, major in A string positions. I'd say it's 50% wear in 2 or 3 spots. You can still play with a mi-low comfortable action.

It weights 3,2 kg / 7,1 lb on my traveler's scales.

  8. Hi, up for sale goes a complete set of EMG BQC System for bass guitars. It is 4-knobs (incl. 2 stacked) Active Balance, Master Volume, Bass/Treble stacked, Mids/Midrange stacked. There is a center detent for flat response. The mid-range control has a variable frequency knob that allows you to sweep through the mid-frequency range from 100Hz to 1KHz. This selects the frequency to boost or cut. Solderless harness included as well as non-original but pretty knobs (not present on the picture). Sending possible, ask me for the cost.
