  1. Here we go again. Bought it new, wasn’t using it that much, sold it on here, started missing it, bought it back........and now have to fund an incoming amp, so I’ll switch back to my separate pedals. Good job I hung on to them.

Helix HX Effects, in superb condition,, and still has the plastic screen protectors. Complete with box, PSU and bumph. A serious bit of kit, with more features than I’ll ever use. Full details here: https://uk.line6.com/hx-effects/

Save about £120 on a new one, with my almost new one - check my feedback for reassurance of a pain-free transaction and quality item.

Stick £10 on the price for UK insured shipping.

  2. **Now (almost) free to a good home, if buyer collects, and sticks £5 into an Asthma charity box somewhere**
As per the title and pretty pictures, really, External dimensions are roughly 57cm x 37cm x 16cm. New, these are £110, so much less than half price to you, guv.

The wooden inlay board has been drilled a bit, but it’s easy to hit Jewsons for a replacement, if you want. It’s in very good condition,  bar the board, weighs about 8 kilos, and is extremely robust. Nuclear war proof, in fact. Feel free to get in touch post-war, for a refund, if it doesn’t make it through.

Happy to post at your cost, or okay with a half-way meet within reason.

  3. ****I failed to make it to Bass Direct, so it’s back up for sale on here, for now***

I’ve gone a bit Geddy and passive too, and need to balance the books, so this beauty is up for sale. I bought it new from PMT about 18 months ago, and just after I bought it the price went up to about £2,400. It’s still there or thereabouts, if you can find one.

They found it had some minor lacquer cracks on the back, near the battery cavity and lower horn, so knocked £200 off, and I’m happy to pass that on. They’re barely noticeable to the eye, are hard to photograph, but can be felt, and didn’t bother me in the slightest. Anyways, that’s the full disclosure bit done, so here’s the (cribbed) details:

Amber stain gloss, quilt maple top with slice of walnut, rosewood board, 1.5” nut, MoP inlays, 3 piece maple neck, EMG active pickups, Tonepump preamp, gold hardware.

It weighs in at just under 4kilos, has an uber skinny neck as per Mr Wimbish’s spec, and is a joy to play.....and look at. Too nice for the places I gig for sure, hence no gigs, even before Boris said “No gigs”.

I can ship at your risk and expense, in a Hiscox hard case, but a socially distanced meet up and try out is feasible, when we’re permitted, or a half-way meet within reason too, again when permitted.

****May partial trade for a Mesa Subway head and/or Subway cabs****

Oh, my feedback is pretty darn good if you want to check.Time for the pretty pictures:

  4. Thought I’d try buying from Dave, rather than selling to him. Bought his Jap Geddy. Totally seamless transaction, and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Thanks Dave!

  5. **Reduced to £1,400 and open to trades, especially for Mesa gear**

    Incoming, so......

Spector Euro LE4 1977 goes up for sale. American Walnut body, 3 piece maple thru neck, rosewood fingerboard,  DiMarzio Model P pickup, and Spector Tonepump active circuit. Just under 4 kilos in weight, and strung with D’Addario Chrome flat strings. Check out the reviews - it’s a P bass on steroids! Never gigged, obviously, and in immaculate condition.

List price is c. £2,450, on the web they range from £1700 to £2,300. Save £300 to £900 and buy mine - it’s as good as new.

No trades, prefer socially distanced meet up within reasonable distance. Comes with Sandberg gig bag.

  6. Line 6 Helix Stomp as per the photos. Excellent condition, fully working, firmware updated to the latest version, and very, very clever. In fact, too clever for a simple soul such as I, hence the sale. I prefers me separates. I’ll leave my one and only patch in it too - it only has a Pitch Shifter in it for Pete, our singer, hence the patch name. Price includes tracked shipping.

    Here’s the manufacturer’s bumph: https://uk.line6.com/hx-stomp/

  7. Boss WL-50 wireless system in excellent condition, could almost pass for new. Very clever bit of kit, with DC in and out (useful), cable loss settings, and a straight through option should you forget to charge the transmitter - like I said, proper clever. Working perfectly, only I’m scrapping my pedalboard so this will be replaced by the Boss WL-20 ‘two bugs’ system. Price includes tracked shipping within the UK.

    Just finished this.

    Mint. Just mint.

Thanks @AScheck9 and more thanks to you and the other lovely people who’ve done reviews on Amazon. I’m up to 11 (now there’s a phrase!) now, and feeling very humbled, flattered and ever so slightly author-ish.

“Oi, Branson, pass the caviar and stop hogging it” is a phrase I’m now practising regularly 😎

    Thanks again, peeps!
