1. DIGITECH WHAMMY & DOD BASS EQ only ones left now! Monday bump!
2. Been getting some interest, nothings come through yet though! Here's a couple more pictures of the dents. Nothing too horrendous and all superficial! Anyone?
3. Hi, is the cab still for sale? I'm only in Worthing, desperate to get one of these!
4. Bumpy. Had a little bit of interest, I'm sure someone wants to snap up a legendary bass for a great price!
5. Second bump! Pedals going fast. Digitech Whammy IV in great condition, £70 posted. Works well on bass, better on guitar. Good fun. DOD Bass EQ. Rare but in great condition, works well and helps create some interesting sounds. Good physical condition too. EHX Clone Theory. Chorus/Vibrato unit capable of creating some great vibrato sounds and some decent chorus sounds all in one for a low price. Good fun.
6.
It's not for me. Yes, it's the bridge - or more specifically the aesthetically displeasing chromed growth that seems to have sprouted from the bridge. Sorry for the quick and dirty attack with the clone tool to give a shout out to the naysayers but: Ahhh!
Wasn't expecting to like this as much as I do! Made a beautiful bass perfect!
7. First bump! Pedals going fast, get 'em while they're hot!... well... room temperature
8. Haha, yeah I am beginning to like it if I'm honest. Always preferred the old square Gibson headstock but the more I look at it... the more there is something very... alluring about it! Nothing against rosewood at all, I just always go for maple fretboards if I have the option. Might be in my head but like you said up there somewhere ^^ I think it brings out the high mids a bit more and that's always what I seem to come back to in my tone. I just think it adds more clarity, so when looking for a bass I usually start with looking for a maple neck. Of course it might all be in my head and I am probably going mad
9. I've been really warming to this bass recently, now that the Ripper is that much harder to find. Turned onto it after hearing the QOTSA/ Russian Circles bass sound, these guys use old Rippers/Grabbers respectively and this seems to be the closest production bass at the moment... The only thing that's been putting me off is the V headstock shape and the rosewood fretboard, but now I know it's actually baked maple I shall think again. I'll have to try one out next time I'm at GAK.
10. Another bump! Got some pedals for sale in the effects section too!

12. I've been looking for one of these for ages! Love my ATK300, but can't find an 800 locally to play. Yeah the more I look at the bridge the more it starts to look a bit silly. Not so much on my natural colour 300, but definitely on this 800. It's unavoidably noticeable. Might be better if the rest of the hardware was silver too. I just try not to look at it
13. Another bump. Open to most trades! Anything 4 string will interest me! Will even consider pedals... or cabs... maybe picks... hell a packet of biscuits would get my interest going at the moment. EDIT: Just to reiterate... I don't want biscuits or picks. But Gallien Krueger cabs or exciting pedals will still interest me.
14. I'm getting sadder and sadder to see it go, but it is wasted on me unfortunately! Bumparoodle.
15. Hi, would you be interested in trading for an EHX Clone Theory (Vibrato/Chorus pedal)?
16. Thanks for the comments so far guys. Come on everyone it's a great bass not to be missed! Bumppp!
17. All these nice comments are making me sad to sell it! But I can't justify it sitting there unused! Sunday Bump!
18. [s]I am selling my 1982 Ibanez Musician. Owned for 18 months. I am after £700 for this bass, or very nearest offer. I am interested in trades too, mainly interested in a Fender Precision with a maple fretboard in a 'sensible' colour, preferably P/J Yamaha BB's are considered too, and I wont definitely say no to other basses, so ask away. 4 strings only! I would also consider a Gallien Krueger cab, either the RBH series or the Neo series. Preferably a 115 or a 210/212 THE BASS It comes with it's original hard case and Ibanez Limited Warranty Card, signed and dated for June 1982. The electronics are all in top condition and haven't been tampered with or even looked at since I got it. There are a couple of tiny dinks on the top edge of the body (see the pictures) but nothing in any way derogatory to the appearance or playing of the bass. For something that's near on 31 years old it's in peak condition. The bass strings were new a year ago and I haven't played it much, so they are still fairly fresh. The sound is great, it has a P/J pickup configuration, with a blend, volume and master tone knobs and a passive/active switch which engages a 3 band EQ (bass, mid, treble). I'm in Worthing, near Brighton and I'm happy to drive a reasonable distance to exchange, or I'll ship if preferred, though I'll confirm prices in PM. Likely to be around £50. UK shipping only, unless you wish to organise your own transport. The price I am asking for is £700 (PRICE DROP!!)[/s] NOW WITHDRAWN. THANKS FOR THE INTEREST.
