Roscoe LG 3305, 2008. Flame Maple Top, Swamp Ash Body. Maple Neck with Purpleheart Centre Lacerations and Maple and Cherry Laminations. Fingerboard: Spalted Purpleheart. Bartolini pickups and pre-amp This bass sounds fabulous, an array of sounds for different styles. Excellent condition apart from two small dings- they look worse in the photos- at the base and another slight tarnish on the edge just below the controls. A really decent price for a handmade USA bass of this quality. Including Hard case in great condition and a descriptive letter outlining the instrument's features.

Thanks for that info and for the comments. Great bass, a real workhorse, you can always hear every note you play - including the wrong ones! Really fat at the top end and big sound without being wooly.

The string spacing is 1.75 or 1.8. It looks adjustable but I can't seem to change the spacing - maybe the saddles have to be taken off. Can't guarantee that.

Fantastic bass in excellent condition apart from 2 tiny dings at the bottom of the bass that I have photographed. Killer B string and overall an amazing sound. Selling because I'm going back to 4 string, but I have recorded and done gigs with this bass and it has served me well. Always kept in a hard case so well looked after. I have owned for two years and love the sound but I am much more comfortable on a four string. Comes with original hard case which is in excellent condition. Have a look at the photo of the certificate which has all the specs (wood, pickups etc.)

This is a great bass, I am the previous owner and that is definitely the original bridge, smith used un branded bridges at this time, i think they were badass bridges. It is great for slap and tapping, as well as all round styles - you wont be disappointed with this bass, especially at that knock down price. Handmade and probably sanded down by Ken himself.

I think it has to be pick up only .....the longer this hangs arond the more I feel like keeping it....could meet up somewhere on the M25 I suppose.

Plays right handed instrument left handed without changing the strings around.....
