    Up for grabs is a Tech 21 VT DI which I bought fairly recently, its in absolute pristine condition with no marks or scratches. Excellent little pedal for those who are after classic SVT and B15 tones, lots of extra features compared to the standard VT, for example the added Blend control, DI out and the ability to run on Phantom Power as well as Battery or 9v DC. I’ve just decided I prefer the sound of my Aguilar rig so this is now a bit redundant, comes complete with its original packaging and settings manuals etc..     Sorry to hijack the thread but I'm considering buying a 1025x to replace a Stingray 5. Although this is probably criminal I'm after a bit more versatility so either looking at the Yammy or a Fender American Standard Jazz 5 in my budget. Currently loving my Precision tone so edging more towards a PJ configuration, BB owners thoughts please!

    I too use the VT DI as an always on preamp with slight tube break-up. Thinking of ordering an Idiotbox Blower Box to add some grunt and grind, seems to be a very popular OD at the moment on talkbass.
