    Thank you both very much. I know that you are both right. I only have little hands and actually moved to medium scale but the CV just seems to suit me, I just have the urge for an old P but think it may just be a bit too much of a handful for me. Does the CV need any upgrades or are they good just as they are? I know these are daft basic questions but I don't know the answers. I used to live near Hemel Lozz, Croxley Green. Thanks again, any further advice greatly appreciated.

    I have a lovely CV Precision which I really like. However, I have the chance of a lovely 1983 USA Precision. Now this might sound daft but will the 83 be so much better than the 2010 Chinese made CV? I just don't know because I really like the CV but also like old basses. Can anybody help please?     Just bought a Yamaha six string electric from Chris, a real bargain and a really nice person to deal with. Everything has been very easy and comfortable. Chris is a star and someone you can buy from with confidence. He is a credit to Bass Chat. Thanks mate Mike (Pestie)

    This is lovely. I bought it off Oggy earlier this year. It is a medium (32") scale in black with a white scratch plate and a gorgeous tinted laguered neck and finger board. As you can see it has a Fender branded humbucker at the neck and Duncan designed Jazz pick up at the bridge making it a nice versatile bass. It is loud and can make the walls shake, it isn't for the faint hearted but it can easily be tamed. I'm only selling because I have just bought a lovely CV P bass and it is now just one too many. This bass is as new, totally unmarked with a really low action. Pick up and a try out is preferred from near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. I am happy to courier at the buyers expense.     Here is my Hartke HA3000 amp head for sale. I bought it off the forum about 6 months ago as a spare and have never needed it after going for a GK micro which was also bought off the forum. The amp is really sturdy and reliable and when paired up with a good cab sounds really nice and powerful. There are a few scrapes and scratches on it but nothing serious, it still looks and sounds really good. I think it was made in the 90's but not really sure. I am happy to courier or it can be picked up from Great Rollright which is near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. Cuppa tea always available.     Just received my MIJ Geddy Lee from Mike. What a lovely bass, looks, plays and sounds amazing. This has been a really pleasant and easy transaction from the start. Excellent communication, delivery spot on, and the packing, I think Mike should run courses on packing, it was wicked, rock solid and safe. You can deal with Mike confidently, he is a credit to Basschat, it can't get any better in my opinion. Thanks Mike, you are a top man.
