  1. This is my extremely lovely Candy Apple Red Jazz bass. The best colour combo in my opinion. It’s in really excellent condition with no bangs, dings, knocks or scrapes. It has: Vintage style CTS pots. A lovely PIO capacitor. I think Tonerider pickups. I’m not 100% but the sound and wiring suggest this. Weight on my bathroom scales 4kg. The bass has a lovely low action with no rattles or flat spots. It looks, sounds and plays amazingly. The bass balances really well on a strap. I really don’t want to sell this but I’m struggling with Osteoarthritis on my left thumb knuckle. I’m currently having to play a Mikro bass and even struggle with my short scale. I live in Catterick Village and would prefer cash on collecting. I’m happy to post and prefer it if the buyer can arrange their own courier. It’s more straightforward. I don’t want any trades thanks. I would like £300 ONO please.

    Hiya Chris

I’m sorry to have to bother.  I’ve just posted my Precision for sale.  Unfortunately the post has gone very strange.  The first picture which is of my Great Grand daughter shouldn’t be there, l don’t know what l did.  Secondly all of my pictures of the bass are down below my text that nobody will find them. Again l don’t know how l managed that.  I’ve tried to correct it nut no look.  Could you help me out please?

    Thanks

    Mike

No problem, all sorted I think. I’m on holiday so using my phone, it looks ok to me now but if not please PM a mod. Cheers!

Not quite, the thumbnail was still showing the distinctly non bass-like pic, but I should have sorted that now :)

  3. Here is my excellent 1989 Squier Precision. This is a really lovely bass. It looks, sounds, plays and feels great. Yes, it's made of plywood. It's light and well balanced and the Olympic White has aged to a gorgeous creamy white. It has a Fender headstock decal applied very well by the previous owner but it's a Squier. It weighs 3.7 kg approx. The bass has Fender Custom 60's pickups CTS pots and Orange Drop cap Schaller machine heads Hosco slotted Bridge saddle Tortoise shell scratch plate from MD guitars l I would prefer cash on collection from Catterick Village please. No trades thanks. I would like £250
  4. Thank you Mark👍
  5. Morning Has anyone got experience of Retrovibe basses, specifically the T30? They look very nice and on the only YouTube video l could find it sounded nice. It would be nice to have some first hand information if possible. I'm having to go short scale because of a worn thumb knuckle problem and this bass looks really nice and a bit different. Thanks Mike

  7. Hiya Tom It's a lovely bass mate and very easy to play. I can bring it over if you fancy trying it. Cheers. Mike
  8. Here's my excellent Ibanez Mezzo medium scale bass in a lovely light metallic blue. I bought this recently to see if l could manage it with my Carpal Tunnel problem but l can't so it's my Ibby Mikro and short scale for me. The bass is light, well balanced on a strap and plays and sounds lovely. It's an active bass and has a gig bag. I live in Catterick Village, North Yorkshire and would prefer cash on collection. I'm happy to pack it properly for posting but prefer it if you arrange your own courier. I don't want any trades thank you. I paid £225 for it and would like that or a very near offer please.
  9. They sound a bit weak and lack in range.
  10. Morning Basschatters. I’ve got a really nice Sire short scale. I think it’s a U5. I really like it but I’m not sure about the pickups. It’s a P J. I’m thinking of changing them to some that will just drop in. Do you have any suggestions? There’s no scratch plate so they’ve got to be a perfect fit because there’s nothing to cover up any mess that l might make if I bodge things. Thanks. Mike
  11. Thank you. You’ve rescued me again. 👍😀👍
  12. I'm really but I've got repeat pics. Can anybody tell me how to delete some please. I'm using Samsung galaxy mobile. Thanks. Mike
  13. Here is my lovely 2011 Fender Jazz in Olympic White which is now a very attractive cream colour. The bass looks and plays lovely. It sounds great, balances well on a strap and is virtually unmarked. It has some small indents at the rear by the strap button which I've put in the pics. It weighs 4.5 kg on my bathroom scales. I would prefer cash on collection but I'm happy to ship at the buyers expense. I live near Richmond, North Yorkshire. I would like £450 please and no trades thanks.
  14. Chris Just weighed it on my bathroom scales and it comes in at 3.5kg or 7.7lbs. I hope this helps, if you have any further questions just ask. Cheers. Mike👍
  15. Hiya Chris I’ll weigh it and get back to you. I know it’s light but I’ve never weighed it. Cheers. Mike👍
  16. Thanks Tom. Yes, it’s lovely but I’m not really playing anymore and it’s just sitting there. I hope all is well over in Guisborough 👍
  17. Here is my excellent LM11 Black Line. I bought it as a back up and it's never left the house. It comes in a used but functional Markbass gig bag. The head has the following: 250 Watts @ 4 ohms, 150 @ 8 ohms. Transistor pre-amp. Analogue Power Amp. 4 band EQ. VPF & VLF Regulator. XLR balanced Jack. Line out. Weight 2.6 kg. I live in Catterick Village and would prefer cash on collection. However I'm happy to post at the buyers expense. I don't want any trades thanks. I would like £150 please. The cheapest l can find is Thomann at £315 and that's without the gig bag. Thanks fir looking.
  18. Thank you. I thought it might be Arctic White. Yes, the nut width is slightly smaller than a Precision. The neck feels really comfortable. Thanks for for the information 👍
  19. Sorry, l don't know why there's 3 pictures the same and l don't seem to be able to delete anym
  20. Here is my excellent 2013 Squier Mike Dirnt in Arctic white. It's a really lovely light, well balanced and great sounding and playing bass. It has the following: Seymour Duncan SPB 3 pickups 0.47 paper in oil capacitor Full size Alpha pots Witches hat control knobs Rosewood Fretboard Agathis body I'm based in Catterick Village, North Yorkshire and would prefer cash on collection. I'm also happy to pack it properly for shipping but it's better if the buyer arranges their own courier. No trades thanks. I would like £250, no offers please.
