1. Your amp and cab are to die for, I've heard your set up as my mate has the same rig and it's simply wondrous. I don't wish in any way to pee on your bonfire, but myself along with many other bassists are now going for powerful and light with a great sound. This means my current rig, which I love, is a GK 800 fusion and 2 Barefaced super compacts...it sounds the dogs to be honest... I wish you well with the sale because not so many years ago I would have crawled over broken glass wearing my speedos with a bunch of £20 crispy notes to plead with you to sell this to me. GLWTS bud. It's certainly going to make someone very happy.
2. What's not to love about this highly portable and excellent sounding pair of speakers in great condition.
3. You certainly have Sir....a beauty and a beast of a matching amp........would look great with those cabs stacked majestically underneath. And thank you.
4. These are my Trusty pair of Warwick cabs I purchased brand new in 1998 from Electromusic in Doncaster. I have gigged with them ever since and have never missed a beat and have been absolutely reliable. Both cabs together sound amazing with sizzling highs due to the excellent tweeter, mids that cut through and are extremely defined and well controlled lows. These cabs are both 300 watts and are both 8 ohms each. I have used them with a variety of amps over the years, Ampeg/Orange/Mesa/Trace Elliot and currently a Gallien Kruger MB 800 fusion (which is in the picture and is not for sale) and the cabs have handled them brilliantly. I have had many compliments regarding my bass sound over the years with these great little cabs. You will not be disappointed. Both cabs are completely original and are in very good condition for their age. Both cabs had covers up to last Christmas where they were left at a pub in Sheffield and I never got them back which is a shame. I still have the yellow Warwick logos for both cabs but never stuck them on the front of the grills as I liked the look of them without. The dimensions of these bad boys are - Top Cab 2x8" speaker is 21" wide, 13.5" deep, 14" High. Bottom Cab 1x15" speaker is 21" wide, 13.5" deep and 21" high. They are both very portable and easy to handle. Pick up only and cash or Paypal with you paying the charges please. I'm based in Retford DN22 0AW Both cabs £295 and worth every penny. Sorry no offers. Thank you for looking.
5. I've got one of these after moving from a QSC power amp/sansamp 21 pre and I must say once you've mastered the settings this is the best amp I have ever owned and I've owned most. Simply brilliant, light and very powerful. It's not for the faint hearted though. GLWTS mate.
6. Top rig mate...I once owned the same equipment. Very good at reproducing the sound of your instrument. Whole rig looks to be in immaculate condition and an absolute steal for someone who knows what they're looking at GLWTS.
7. Thank you one and all for all your advice and info. It's brilliant for getting technical things sorted. Sorry for derailing this thread Abitha.
8. Thank you Dad for clearing that up. So, if I connected a 4 ohm cab to each speakon connection at the back would that bring it all down to 2 ohms and would that be safe? Sorry for sounding dumb
9. It does yes but to get the full 800 watts you must connect the two 8ohm cabs together.
10. Thanks Funky, but the reason I'm asking is that they only have one neutric connection at the back. So how do they link? Can a splitter be used?
11. Hi just bought a GK 800 fusion amp and it sounds awesome. These cabs would really look/sound good sat underneath it. Question..by the look of things they cant be linked together to get the full 4 ohms...or can they??
12. Bump up for a truly amazing bass amp. I'm gutted because I bought this model just before Christmas and with the rack ears, SKB case it cost me a grand in total. As a professional bassist, I can highly recommend this amp because over the years I've had the lot and to my ears it's among the best. At this price I'm surprised it's still here. GLWTS mate, you'll regret it !
13. Bump up and sold. Do people really buy anything off this site?? Mini owners looking at porsche's ..... Cheers, using Gumtree in future
14. bump. No rush to sell this top gear but it would make someone really happy
15. For sale is my excellent set up. It has served me well for a couple of years now and have all been bought brand new by me and are in excellent/amazing condition. Everything is racked up in a 4U SKB case. Any questions, please ask. Below are the specs for my equipment. 16. For sale is my 'as new, fresh out of the box' Geddy Lee USA signature bass. Bought last October '16, she has never been gigged, never left the house only to be photographed and only played a handful of times. To be honest I bought it as an investment and a knee jerk reaction of GAS, to be kept under the bed and bequeathed to my grandson many years in the future. However, things do not always turn out as planned as we all know and now my daughter has set a date for her wedding, all available funds need to be mustered......and that is the very reluctant reason for selling this beast! I could bore you all with the easily obtained specs such as the type of wood used, neck radius/profile, scale length, voiced American pickups etc etc, but if you're looking at my advert you'll know all this anyway. Simply put, this bass is beautiful and a dream to play in every respect. What you may not know is how this bass can growl like a wild animal but on the other hand can sound as smooth as silk and can perform all the other bits in between with aplomb. So, if you've been promising yourself a man treat of one of these basses and you would like to save yourself a cart load of money of least between £400 - 500, then simply PM me and this beast will have a new master. No offers and no trades, thanks for looking (and reading this drivel).
