"Hello,
I'm writing to thank you for the pleasant transaction. I took the bass to the deposit 8 days ago. It is beautiful and in tiptop condition, and when i opened the case it was still perfectly tuned!

all the best

4. Hi this is the 3 channel Sansamp Programmable Bass Driver I bought from JJTee a while back. Not getting used - only tested it out at home a couple of times - so its got to go to pay for some GAS vaccine...

5.
Preferably after a quality cab that can handle a low F# string (Yes, Below  and have clarity. 4ohm, atleast 600watt handling and shipped to norway :)
nice P and Good luck mate. just remember to notify the avalanche warning hotline... you guys had a lot of snow this year and 600w of low F# might be a bit, unsettling!

6. hiya,
lovely bass but its the neck I'm interested in... how did you find the process of swappng the neck - easy? good fit? -and whats your verdict on mighty mite?
Also, if you're interested I'd take the neck and tuners if you wanted to split it up.
Cheers, doug.

7. I'm selling a gorgeous looking Aerodyne like this one (pics aren't of mine). It is Crafted in Japan and not intended for export but I picked it up new from a local importer. It is immaculately finished, very well set up, naturally very resonant and has a P+J configuration. Mine is in 100% perfect condition and unmarked.

In terms of its value I see that the regular aerodynes with no pickguard and only available in black are going for £600 new. Like I say, this is 100% as new and is a bit of a looker ... and it's your's for £450. If you want me to post it you'll have to pay for a courier but I'll throw in my flight case (old, battered, ugly but indesrictible!)

I'd also be interested in trades for a fender type bass with a maple fingerboard. Not interested in trading up though, if anything I'd want to get a bass and some cash for it. Doesn't have to be fender, but you know, fenderish:

here are some pics of a similar one to give you an idea. Actual pics of the bass for sale will be coming soon but it is exactly the same as the one in these pics.

8. recently bought a Sansamp programmable bass driver from Justin and I have to say it was like delaing with a pro! it arrived very quickly, was packaged excellently with the manual and stcikers in the original box and was bubble wrapped to protect it.
thanks very much !

9.
Nick has raised a point, Is there any other pedals in your chain Doug that might be the cause?

Have you tried it with any other basses?
thanks for the replies guys. I seems like I've got a dud. I don't use any other pedals before the BD121, even when I was trying to 'protect' it by putting a limiter infront it still clipped really bad. also, if I took a line straight out of the limiter or even straight from the bass into the desk (to test the pups for problems) it all sounded like it should.
Cheers, D

10.
Amybe your bass is too loud for it. Got actives?
Thanks for your reply Mr. Foxen - I should have been clearer about that. I'm using a Japanese Fender Aerodyne Jazz with P and J pickups. The fault is worse when using the P pup so I think that the big hits from the bottom end are overloading the behringer but its a passive bass so I wouldn't have thought it would have been a problem. There must be much more powerful pups out there!
cheers, D

11. hi folks- a quick question about the controversial snansamp bass driver clone the BD121. I got one of these to try it out and my results are that it sounds VERY GOOD but there is a major fault. when the drive dial is turned past about 40% or the signal peaks through hitting a few big notes I get a digital sounding clpping noise. its a bit like a 'chirp', but not at all musical or even useable.
any one else had the same experience? given the price I would buy another one (and test it in the shop) if this is a one off fault but if its a common problem then I guess I have to put it down to experience and start saving up for that sansamp!

cheers guys, doug.

12. thanks for the link Jake,

Aphex says: For all types of basses with magnetic or piezo pickups, active or passive. Voicing is tailored to deep tone & sustain while adding life to the the bite or slap. Smaller rigs sound big; big rigs sound huge!

What users say is that it it develops extra under and overtones based on your tone so you get a thicker fuller sound without more 'volume' - you basically take up more of the mix so you sound bigger. The bottom end part develops extra bass frequencies based on your sound without having to turn up your amp - your sound gets bigger and thicker and sounds louder without needing a louder amp. The Enhancer does a similar job at the top end, so you get more bite, clarity and headroom.

their website explains it well here http://www.aphex.com/204.htm - (the link is to the 203 rackmount version, but the pedal is the same thing tuned for bass guitars in a stomp box format.)

13. Hi I've decided to part with this cool little box. Its in 100% immaculate condition and has only been used to test that it works - which it does very well. As I'm not using it I can't justify keeping it since I'm now seeking a compressor.

Price is £50 plus £5 for postage.
Would definitely be interested in a swap or PX for a good compressor... BBE Opto Stomp in particular.
It looks like this:
