Slight zombie resurrecion here but just adding this in case it is useful for others ... I've had this confirmed by tech support at both Orange and Ashdown, and have scoped the ABM to confirm it. 1) Ashdown's ABM series has a steep HPF as standard, it starts to work at around 30hz. I was only told that the ABM that has the HPF, but haven't had a MAG or RM series amp to test. 2) All of Orange's bass amps (and the new Bass Butler preamp) have a steep HPF which starts to cut at 30hz. Includes everything from the crush range to the big heads. I don't know what order (db/octave) they are but they are described as steep and the purpose is to filter out subsonics without interfering with your sound /tone. It is hard to scope & measure accurately down below 30z, but it does look like a steep drop off on the ABM, so my guess (and that's all it is) would be that it is at least 18db/oct. In general, the more I learn the more I respect amp makers who have been doing this for years (decades), many of whom have already dealt with cone excursion problems in their amp designs.

Same here, no complaints sound wise but personally I'd prefer a larger metal pedal for roadworthiness.

Hi all, Selling a very clean ABM 500 Evo3. You probably know all about them; very powerful, flexible amps with built in switchable drive, compression and sub. This is in great condition, only a few small signs of use, and will be shipped in an old very solid flight case. I'm describing the flight case as a shipping container only and not as a case in itself as it's old and has seen better days but it will offer very good protection for the delivery. Price includes UK shipping

After deciding to keep another nice pedal this one is going the distance. They were originally priced pretty steep but at this price it's a really solid UK made pedal which includes: - Subsonic filter (thumpinator style 24db/oct HPF) which can be set to be always on even if the rest of the pedal is bypassed - 3 band eq - fixed ratio compresion which is intended to be an always on kinda thing rather than a aggressive comp (as I see it) - A subtle top end roll off to kill noise / harshness but preserve highs. Basically very useful for DI signals and noise reduction. It's an 18v unit. Immaculate condition in the box with the manual. Price includes uk postage.

Mint condition Fishman Platinum Pro eq for sale as a result of a recent GAS attack that must be retrospectively financed! It has lots going for it: compressor boost, very flexible eq, tuner, notch eq, phase switch and a sweepable 12bd/octave HPF all in one substantial 9v powered box. Comes with the box and manual. ## Withdrawn, came to my senses! ##

Caught Snarky Puppy in Glasgow Barrowlands. As others have said about the London gigs, they're just amazing and such a pleasure to watch! I expected that, and enjoyed it immensely, but I didn't expect such a top support performance from Becca Stevens. She and her band were brilliant.
