  1. I love a good 4 string Precision but these days only use a 5 string. I am regularly playing for leaders who sing in different keys, and so having the ability to easily transpose patterns without loosing the low notes is great. I also really like to use the B string for a big chorus or bridge section when I have previously been playing E string and above… it can really give a song a big dynamic lift.
  2. Would rather not discuss on this thread if that is ok… suffice to say it cost me a significant amount of money to have it sorted out…
  3. Easily one of the best distortion pedals on the market that allows you to run clean boost or a combination of overdrive and distortion that when really cranked will get you into fuzz territory. Not only does this pedal sound amazing but it also looks sensational on a pedalboard. Bought recently off this forum and am asking for what I paid but with the postage included. Postage will be Royal Mail Special delivery. Condition is excellent with a small amount of paint missing from the front edges of the pedal. I do not have the original box but it will be packed extremely well for transit. Am only selling to raise funds after being ripped off on a bass a few weeks ago…
  4. Only a couple of months old and barely used Starlifter Preamp DI pedal in as new condition with box. It has Velcro on the bottom ready to go straight into your board. This is a studio quality Preamp with a very clean musical eq section and a 3 position contour switch. Built like a tank and using the highest quality components as you would expect from Carey Nordstrand. The LED lights change from green(engaged) to red(mute) Also features an impedance switch on the back along with the usual DI ground lift etc… It does require 12v AC power which can be done with the included power supply or I have been using my TREX Chameleon which has been perfect. Special delivery postage to a UK address included. Am only selling to raise some funds due to getting ripped off on a bass a few weeks back…
  5. Mark just bought a toolkit from me…. A model Basschatter with great comms and fast payment! Highly recommended

  7. Beautiful quality Fender Custom shop strap made from black leather. Leather finish to outside and suede finish to underside. Lightly used and in great condition £30 posted to a UK address
  8. Bought a bass off of Mark on Saturday, it was so nice to see him and catch up/put the world to rights. He did mention the website would be up and running very soon! I also sent an email asking about a new pick guard on Saturday evening expecting a reply on Monday… Marcus was on it that very evening and even emailed Spencer Lull straight away to get an answer! Can’t knock that for customer service!
  9. Chrome red is a killer colour and probably my favourite! what a fantastic bass for the money
  10. Just bought another Grizzly from Phil… All good here Delivered quickly fully tracked and it certainly works!!
  11. A couple of really sweet looking basses there @lee650
  12. Possibly the same one, they only had one in stock… I have owned a couple of AVRI basses and they were beautifully finished by comparison.
  13. Have been hankering after another Precision for a while now so I went to Guitar Guitar in Birmingham a few weeks ago. Tried a few different basses and then tried this one out. Fit and finish is impeccable with the best neck joint that I have seen on a Fender. It weighs in at 3.7kg and resonates like crazy as you play. Was originally looking for Oly White/Rosewood but am absolutely smitten with the black maple. The VMOD ii pickup is really quite nice much to my surprise, it will probably get replaced with a Nord or a Fralin at some point but no hurry on that!

  15. Unfortunately for the first time on this forum I cannot recommend this seller
  16. Just the one… never had a problem, never been let down by a bass, am pretty meticulous with maintenance etc.
  17. Stunning bass and Matt is a great guy to deal with👍
  18. I love using click track especially live, we also run a guide track as well which prompts for us for the likes of chorus/bridge/build etc Keeps things nice and tight but was certainly a learning curve initially.
  19. I checked one out at Guitar Guitar in Birmingham last week and left very disappointed… The yellow burst on the back was very poor indeed….Speckled and no wood grain showing.
