Went thru a Mesa Boogie 400+ and an Ampeg 8x10....sure was trouser flappingly lovely! Mike

Was about to say I'd consulted The Oracle but you posted as you texted me.

Just out of interest, were those of us that bought the Euro LX4's supposed to receive the outer straplocks with our basses? Obviously the strap buttons are fitted but there's no sign of the outer part, I wasn't sure if those are meant to be supplied. Mike

Well, I would have joined 18 years ago had I been able to get a US NS2 at the time.

I'm glad I didn't buy the NS4 in Brum a month ago. It didn't compare that well with 2 other basses I had with me and at £1,000 it would have been overpriced to my ears but to ask close to £2,500.........just count myself lucky I've been able to score one of these LX's which sounded better than the NS4 I tried. Never fails to surprise me how every bass is different, even in the same product line/range. Mike
