Another one I'd never heard of now added to the GAS list. Thanks

You and me both, I want one of these badly! -
Bump, I really can't go lower than this.

Another price drop. Come on, £80! I really don't want to let it go for that amount of money but I need it gone!

My new Thunderbird arrived today so I can finally contribute to this thread!

Got it today, my manager at work very kindly let me stay home today to wait for the delivery
I love it, it looks absolutely beautiful, lighter than my custom shop silverburst Thunderbird. Love the side-mounted jack, especially after replacing the nut on my other Thunderbird after it corroded terribly.
Still can't decide whether I'd prefer it with chrome hardware or not, but the only change I'll be making for now is putting some decent strings on it.
What a bargain for £350!

Bought an Alesis Multimix off Perry, great guy to deal with, highly recommended!

Paid off the remaining owed on my white Thunderbird with Wembley Guitar Centre today so hopefully it'll be with me tomorrow!

Oops, sorry Perry, I didn't realise the ones I originally uploaded had disappeared. I'll get some up now!

After committing to buy a nice Alesis USB mixer on here, I'm moving along my Line 6 TonePort UX1. Perfect condition apart from a bit of dust, working perfectly, includes USB cable, original box (a bit battered though) and software discs (however, I recommend ignoring these and just downloading the latest drivers from Line 6's website). Windows and OS X compatible.
Can't remember what I paid for it, but I'm thinking £40 and whatever it costs to post.
-
I'm interested. I should be able to take it off your hands tomorrow or in a few days if you haven't got anyone else interested.

I've been using a Samson Airline 77 for a few months now, a Sennheiser Freeport prior to that. Certainly in my experience, I've never had any issues with reliability, nor loss of tone.
In terms of using them with pedals, you shouldn't have any problems. My wireless transmitter lives in my rack, but feeds to my pedalboard and then through that back out to my amp without any issues at all. So essentially, the wireless receiver acts as the start of my signal chain, then my instrument cable feeds from the transmitter to the board like a really long patch lead.
The Samson receiver has some nifty features on it, like a -15dB pad if I switch from a passive to an active bass during the set. There's lots of different systems about, the Line6 digital ones get a lot of praise, as well as the Stageclix gear. -

Pretty
I'm getting there. I just need a replacement bridge pickup in one bass, and about 4 new sets of strings! ... And once I've done that I'll find the next 'essential upgrade'
Admittedly, I need to do some restringing soon. Still on the quest to find the perfect strings, currently using Dunlop Stainless Steels on all my basses which are my favourite to date, but I'll be buying some DR DDT's soon and giving them a bash. -

I've got a sneaking suspicion that it's not a real rig shot unless there's a cat present!
Effin' awesome rig as well dude, I can only imagine how great that all sounds! That's the coolest looking Thunderbird I've ever seen too.
Cheers mate, I do love my Thunderbird. Hopefully I'll have a nice shiny white one with Gibson pickups soon too
And for the first time, I've been completely happy with my rig, can get a huge range of sounds, from warm and clean to the most evil distortion you could imagine -

Is that an LTD B-15? If so, what's it like?
Cheers
Alex

It is indeed, it's great, always gelled with it really well as my first and only 5-string. I got it quite cheap as an ex-display model, and the pickups recently died on me so I've replaced them with Bill Lawrence P46s which gives it a better grind than the stock pickups, but I thoroughly recommend it! -

Is this still available?

Still available -
Been ages since I posted my rig and it's changed a lot since I did, so here you go. Ignore the cat, she insisted on getting in the photo.
In the rack is a Peavey Tour 700 and a Samson Airline 77 wireless system, the cabs are Ashdown ABM 410 and ABM 210 Compact. The two basses are the two I regularly use, the Thunderbird is tuned CGCF and the ESP is tuned BF#BEG.
The board is a Pedaltrain 1 and consists of Boss TU3, Barber TonePress parallel compressor, Dunlop CryBaby, Sansamp programmable bass driver, Ibanez PD-7, Boss ODB3, Line6 Echo Park delay and ISP Decimator. -
Still for sale?

With my main band currently demoing and doing pre-production on our new EP, we've finally decided to bring in synths. We've done the synths for one track with a Line6 TonePort KB37 through Logic Pro, and I've just acquired an old Roland PC-180 so I can write some synth parts for the other tracks.
The only problem with it is that it only has a MIDI Out port, not USB. Does anyone know if I can get a MIDI to USB cable like this: http://www.maplin.co.uk/usb-to-midi-adaptor-lead-48612 and this will allow me to use the keyboard in Logic? Or will I need an interface like this one: http://www.maplin.co.uk/uno-1-in-1-out-usb-bus-powered-midi-interface-224726
Or would it be much easier to get something more modern, something from the M-Audio range or similar?
Cheers

Once you have one, you'll find a use for it
