  1. Dod FX40B Graphic equalizer eq pedal for electric acoustic or bass guitar. Still boxed with instructions. Very good condition with all sliders and battery cover intact and works perfectly.

Due to a bidding mix up on eBay on this weekend I managed to buy 2 eq pedals in 2 days and one needs to go. Happy to do UK postage for £5 or cash on collection from Bristol.

Trades considered for a hartke bass attack or similar di box or zoom h2 or similar recording device.

  2. Slightly delayed response, but I've now used this for 2 practices with both a Yamaha BB1100s and Gibson G3 and can say it is brilliant. I haven't had to push it beyond 3 on the master for fairly loud practices and am looking forward to gigging it properly for the first time in a couple of weeks, It is bloody loud and I really like the tone, especially as I didn't think I'd go back to 15s. As said by a lot of people here the one trip for the car, even with 2 basses is great and my back certainly notices the difference. I guess the comments about the Orange not having the best EQ are fairly true but I really like the flat sound so that works for me. The only thing I have missed is the channel switch from my old Marshall which I used to use to boost sound under solos but I have just added and EQ pedal and that seems to do the job.

All in all I'm really happy with it. Jobs a good un!

  3. Thinking of getting one of these as they are cheaper than a sansamp and look more robust than a behringer to use as a pedal.

They look good value but does any one know if they're any good? I want something to give a bit of boost to my bass during guitar solos (guitar bass drums singer 4 piece) and a di box as a back up to my obt. My other option is an eq pedal for the boost and the behringer di box or possibly a 2nd hand hartke bass attack. Opinions gratefully received. Cheers

  4. Bought a barefaced compact from Paul. Great comms and Paul delivered the cab to me to try cos I couldn't get to him. Great condition great price great service nice bloke. Would happily deal with again.

  5. Got a Barefaced Compact today from Bassman7755 to go with the Orange Bass Terror that TJ Spicer sent me on Wednesday. Cheers guys.

Really happy with it and cant wait till Tuesday to give it a pepper run with my band.

  6. *SOLD Marshall mb450h bass amp head SOLD*

2 x peavey 210tx 2x10 speaker cabs for sale. Based in Bristol.

Amazing sounding rig only selling as my dodgy back and shoulder have made me down size.

Marshall is a 2 channel head with both valve and solid state preamp channels which you can switch between or blend and you can get a really wide range of tones. It also has headphone out and aux in for home practice which is a real bonus. Its really loud and kicks out 450 watts into 2 ohms which the 2 cabs give (each cab is 350 watts into 4 ohms).

Peavey cabs works fine and sound great but are a bit scuffed, but this in no way affects the sound except one of the peaveys has a blown tweater (this cab was bought from Lord sausage of this parish) but ive not replaced it as I dont think you need them. Comes with speaker cables and a footswitch to change channells on the amp (not the original Marshall one).

I will separate at cost of £150 for the Marshall, £80 for the fully working cab and £60 for the one with the blown tweeter. Or £275 for the lot ovno Welcome to come and try it. Any queries please let me know.

Sorry no trades as I have already sorted my new stuff and need to pay for it!

I'm also happy to post individual items or to deliver the lot within a sensible distance of Bristol at the cost of postage/petrol etc. Cheers

  7. I bought an Orange Bass Terror from Tyler. Good price, excellent condition, really well packaged, great comms, and a faster deleivery than Jimmy Anderson. Top bloke to deal with and I happliy would again.

    Cheers
    Steve

  8. Hi

I'm after an overdive pedal to give a bit of a boost and tubey overdrive at the milder end of the distorion spectrum for when I'm not using my own amy (Marshall MB450 usually through the tude channel). The bass big Muff and Boss ODB3 both look interesting and are easy to come by second hand, does anyone have any thoughts or other suggestions. I'm looking to spend £30 to £40.
    Cheers

  9. Zoom B2 multi effect pedal. Excellent condition and perfect working ordumer. Boxed with power adapter and instruction. Tons of Effects preset and programmable which I just don't need, or use. Built in tuner, drum box and can take headphones for practice. Happy to post for£5 or collection from Bristol. Open to sensible offers or trades for vocal mic and stand, or overdrive pedal (boss odb3 bass big muff etc) or possibly zoom h2 or similar recording device. Pics to follow. Cheers

  10. Haha yes the city of bath I should have seen that coming. Weve used stage 2 and shockerwick and like them both but we are rehersing more than gigging at thw moment and are looking for ways of keeping the costs down. Looking for any hidden gems to use. For example our drummer knows a band who use a farm outbuilding but its not in a location we can get to easily.

  11. We're considering possibilities for a cheaper option to the usual rehersal rooms. Does any one know a good value rehersal space near bath (guitarist and singer in the city drummer in Chippenham and im in bristol). Thinking of church halls industrial units outbuildings etc. Cheers
