  1. Cheers guys. I've used my brother (who's a guitarist) clip on one and dont like it and found it a bit flakey with bass.

I'm thinking of a second hand Korg but noticed Gear4Music are selling the Behringers for £19 on line which prompted the origonal post.

  2. Are they worth buying or is it a false economy? I'm looking at the behringer guitarman stag or joyo tuners at a fraction of the cost of a boss korg or tc and wondering if anyone has any experience with them or is it better to spend the extra cash on one of the name brands possibly a korg pitch black. Don't need anything fancy just clear accurate and reliable. Cheers

  3. Bought a bass from Jon. Absolutely top bloke deal with confidence. Quick dispatch very well packed excellent comms and all as described id happily trade with himagain . Love the bass Thanks very much.

  4. Really happy with my vox amplug as long as you don't have really hot active pickups. My zoom b2 sounds great with headphones too and can be picked up quite cheap 2nd hand but don't have the aux in but do have more tones than you shake a stick at and a builds in drum box.

  5. I recently bought a 2nd hand marshall mb450 which i really like but it didnt have the channel switch pedal to switch between valve and solid state and blend. Does any one know if i need to buy the pedal from marshall or whether a cheaper one fron thomann would work ok?cheers

  6. Saw the Wildhearts at the bristol o2 last night. Absolutly cracking gig. One of my favorite bands as youth and they put in a great set. Earth vs all the way through then very entertaing audience choose the songs 2nd half. Support bands of Baby Godzilla and especially Eureka Machines were brilliant too. Top night out!

  7. I've got both a zoom b2 and a vox amplug. I think both sound great. Got the vox first which is great with the aux in for ipod but have be careful to switch my yamaha bb1100 to passive as active can make it a bit farty. The zoom sounds great and has a ton of sounds to play with and the drumbox is really useful. Neither should set you back more than £30 -40.

  8. There seems to be quite a few 1970s columbus jazz copies made at the matsomoku plant floating around ebay at the moment. They seem to go for reasonable money but does any one know if they are any good. Would they be better value than a mim or squier? Im aware of what matsomoku (although not sure of the spelling)have made aria westone etc but have never tried a columbus in the flesh. Cheers

  9. If you ever get over the bridge pmt in bristol had several new ones last time I was there. Couple of t birds an les Paul and a grabber 3 reissue. All new. I would also bet electric ladyland would have some vintage ones but whether youll get to see them let alone buy them is another matter!

  10. There's a yamaha bb1100s in the for sale section at £200 which is a propper bargin and will give you £50 spare. Mine is a great bass neck is not quite as fat as a p but chunkier than a jazz and as an active passive pj can sound ike anything. Good luck shopping!
