Thanks for the help

Thanks for your help. A couple of small holes on the head will go with the dings on the body. Its got a good bit of mojo already!
-
Yup. Completely snapped. A like for like would be great if I can find one but im open to a new set of Hipshot/Gotoh/Challenge etc. If needed. Ive been tempted to add a Hipshot d-tuner so maybe that and 3 new matching ultralight. Bass has had a life and is far from pristine but it's been my most played for over 30 years.

Looking for recomendations on the best replacement tuners for a Yamaha bb1100s. Just after getting the Preamp fixed the G tuner has snapped (a bit like me after several decades of use it's starting to show it's ware)
Ideal scenario is a NOS or original one, however I'm tempted to put some new ones on. Any recommendations for the best retro fit ideally without extra drilling!
Thanks

Is it too late to sign up for this? Ive been meaning to come for a few years and am hopefully free this year! I don't know if I'm being dumb but I can see the date and the address but not the times. I'm happy to bring a few bits along. Cheers

Open to sensible offers. I'd much prefer a straight sale but I can always be tempted but the right trade!

Its a really nice bass and pretty much mint considering the age. Only selling as ive just got a fretless yamaha bb110s to match my fretted one and I don't need 2.

Thanks all for your help. I've realised it's more than want to take on myself so hopefully Steve Hawker will be able to sort it next week.

Steve at Hawker Repairs has done some really good work for me before, including a really complicated repair on my Dingwall after the strap button screw sheared off insite the top horn. Give him a call and see what he says.
https://www.facebook.com/hawkerrepairs/But yes, if you're ok with soldering, it shouldn't be a big job. Take the switch out, and put a picture up here and someone will be able advise what you need to buy.
Thanks. Was thinking of Steve Hawker. Will drop him a line.

Thanks Paul. That's what I was hoping. I've just put it away but will take a pick in the morning. Just had a look. Lots of wires as PJ with 3 band active EQ with passive volume and tone with an active/passive switch and 3 way pickup selector.

I've just managed to bugger my yamaha bb110d that has been my go to bass for over 30 years. I've somehow snapped off the active/passive switch and am now getting no sound. Does anyone know if this is an easy enought fix or can recommend someone good with electrics/preamps in the Bristol area. Thanks

@paul_5 you can overcome that regret by buying this one!

Hohner Prefessional J Bass FL Fretless Jazz bass. I believe this is Korean made in the 90s in Tobacco burst. Bass is in excellent condition and looks like it has hardly been played. Ive used it for a few practices Excellent low cost fretless but I have just upgraded and don't need 2 fretless'. Strung with Flats (possibly Rotosound).
Postage possible at buyers risk and cost but collection and any tests welcome at Downend in Bristol.
Any q's please let me know.

Wow, what a bargain. Shouldn't take much to fix up and will be on a par with many basses 10 X that cost

Trade for mini phaser, fuzz or distortion
