  1. Encore Fretless P Bass for sale.
Good low cost fretless bass plays nicely  and sounds great. Strung with Rotosound Tape wound flat wound strings. If you are looking for a cheap fretless this could be the one for you.

This bass does have a number of bumps and dings including a small mark for the fretboard approx at 1st fret on the E string but nothing that affects the playability of the bass.

I had a new nut professionally fitted when i got the bass a couple of years ago as When I got it the old one was broken and it had a set up and  the fretboard lemon oiled at the same time.

Any trials or inspections welcome in Downend Bristol. I would much prefer collection but I can post at the buyers cost and risk and can also include a hard case (hiscox or stagg) for £25.

  2. Hohner b2a headless bass guitar for sale. In fair condition. This is the 2nd one of these I've owned and much as I want to like it I don't get on with headless basses. Selling as I am trying to reduce the collection a bit.
Good points. Plays nicely with low action, iconic design, newish elites 45-105 strings

Points to note, active circuit doesn't appear to work but it still works fine as a passive bass, few little dings which I've tried to show in the photos. D string tuner works but is a little stiff.

None of this takes away from the fact this a cool little bass and ideal for travel/practice.

Any tests welcome in Downend Bristol and collection much preferred. Postage possible at buyers cost and risk. Any queries please let me know.

St Pat's night gig at the Blue Lagoon in Bristle lady night.

I've played there before and it was steaming, expected great things, but it was oddly quiet. A few groups came in drank danced cheered then left. The venue didn't help by leaving the dance floor full of tables.

Still, no complaints from me, a Thursday gig is free money.

It's usually a good night in the Blue Lagoon. Played there a few weeks ago and back at the end of the year.

  5. I just bought a Barefaced Super Compact from Chris after posting in the wanted section. Looking at the other feedback he seems to have everything in stock! Great comms, quick postage, well packed, good price and all as described. What more can I say other than top bloke!

    Thanks again

  6. Not sure I want to do this but our band is trying to reduce volume and possibly go ampless so I am taking baby steps and I'm downsizing.

Cab is a well used and slightly scruffy Barefaced Super 12 T which I bought from ricksterphill of this parish last year. It sounds massive and very loud and has served me well on about a dozen gigs. Sound wise there are no issues. Cosmetically it has a few bumps and dings and The handles are all showing signs of wear (particularly the one on the left side) but are all still secure, and barefaced sells replacements if required.

    76cm x 48cm x 34cm 19kg according to the Barefaced website.

It comes with a cover which is reinforced over the grill for added protection. Any inspections and trials are welcome and I would massively prefer collection due to size and weight. I may be able to meet within a sensible distance of Bristol although I do occasionally travel with work,.  Postage may be possibe if I can find a big enough box and would be at the buyers cost and risk.

Value reflects what I paid and the condition.

    Any questions please ask.

  7. Was supposed to have played our favourite venue on NYE after being booked there for 2020 which was obviously cancelled.

I Was convinced NYE would be cancelled and was surprised when government did nothing but was still apprehensive to play. Previous gig cancelled due to me having covid, keyboard player tested positive over Xmas.  I practiced the set the night before and then singer tested positive on NYE and gig had to be abandoned which was a bummer.

Ended up watching Disney films with the family.  Here's to a smoother 2022 everyone.
