    Bought the Classic Jazz from Phil. He gave a full explanation and demo of the controls, a full receipt listing the modifications made and as a bass tutor, took the time to answer clearly and patiently a few questions regarding music theory. This chap really knows his stuff, a pleasure to do business with.

    Recently purchased a Fender Roscoe Beck V from Antony, the bass and I are getting along well together. Antony made the deal easy and hassel free.     Now on the lookout for a no strings model, not too heavy (oh my back!), well balanced, good body and pleasing tone, not too many owners preferably, an eighties vintage if possible.

    Hi Folks I've been playing seriously for about six months and the time has come to stop playing with myself (oo er missus). I've a wide taste in music, rock 'n' roll through to classical. I'd like to play along with a patient guitarist/band just to gain a bit of experience and have put an ad on www.partysounds.co.uk after reading about it on this site. So if anyone knows of such an opportunity I'd be grateful if they'd drop me a line. I may be knocking on a bit (48!) but I'm enthusiastic and enjoy playing. Regards Mark
