1. 3 Ply (Mint/Black/Mint) pickguard for Precision bass. Vintage look and really nice mint hue (IMO some of them out there are too green). This is the '62 RI version with the holes for the thumbrest on the treble side and holes for the chrome pickup cover. Asking £20 including postage to anywhere in the UK. Thanks for looking!
2. Got some feedback PM'd to me which I'm very grateful for. I'm going to lower the price to £145 plus postage. I know how long it took me to find this, so hopefully somebody else will be in the same boat and grab a good bargain! Still also interested in a trade for a '62 RI neck,
3. Bump for price drop!
4. No reply from interested buyer so still for sale. Postage and packing to anywhere in the UK will be £5. Not sure if the photo quality shows it, but this is the proper '62 AVRI pickguard.
5. Bump - I'd be interested to know if this is priced too highly or whether there's no demand, or both! Any feedback welcome!
6. Boss Equalizer pedal. Cosmetically, the pedal has a few nicks and scratches, but it's definitely in perfect working order and includes manual. Looking for £30 plus postage. Any questions, just ask!
7. Not sure if it's the best or just my favourite, but it'd have to be 'I Was Made to Love Her' by Stevie Wonder with Jamerson (or was it Carol Kaye!!) on bass.
8. Genuine '62 reissue pickguard with holes for pickup cover and thumbrest. Asking for £30. Any questions, just ask!
9. An as new vintage reissue bridge with threaded saddles for Precision or Jazz. This along with a number of other items I'll be posting are from a project that is now taking a different direction. Asking for £20 plus postage. Any questions, just ask!
10. For sale - 1996 MIJ '57 RI neck. I bought the full bass a few months ago and sold most of the other parts here on BC. The project I was working on is going in a different direction, hence why this is up for sale. The neck is in great condition. I'm not really sure what these go for, but I've seen similar ones priced well in excess of £200. New asking price is £145 plus postage. Would also consider a trade for a '62 RI neck should anyone be interested. Any questions, just ask!
11. I found it strange that JJ jnr gave My Girl as an example of how his father changed bass.
12. Hope this works: http://video.pbs.org/video/2256479348
13. Thanks for the tip-off. I think it's actually on tomorrow evening though. Just sky+'d it. Someone posted the video here recently, but will be good to have it saved.
14. Cool video. Dunn and Cropper playing off each other is a thing of beauty, but is that Akroyd's mic feeding back throughout?!...it seems to ruin all the best breaks.
15. MJT in the US are a company I'm considering using shortly. They have a website http://mjtagedfinishes.com/ and an ebay store http://stores.ebay.ie/MJT-Aged-Guitar-Finishes with lots of options.
16. Really enjoying your blog! Keep up the great work
17. Somebody must have got over-excited during the bidding process. I speak from experience.... I've lots of tat at home that I overpaid for in bidding frenzies Would have been a great project if you got the bass cheaply.

20.
Oh, and please don't shove those feathers TOO deep into my arse I was just helping out a bit . Btw, if you want to go fully vintage correct: add nail-holes and paint the entire neckpocket black
Never heard that saying before, but I get the jist of it. Seriously though, you know your stuff, I don't.... cheers!
