1. Sorry mate, cash is king at the moment. Thanks for the offer though.
2. Great valve distortion pedal with a couple of wicked features built in it; low pass and high pass filters and built in compression to name a few. It's in near mint condition considering its constant use through my European tour and comes with a 12v power supply. No box or manual, however using this pedal isn't rocket science... Visit the Mark bass website to read full specs on the pedal HERE. No trades i'm afraid as I need the cash at the moment. Looking for £110 posted Mike.

5. Hi all, this evening im playing at the 229 Venue thats right outside Great Portland Street Station. Would be great for any BC'ers to come along. It's going to be quite a big night and it's the bands last till we leave for tour in Switzerland! Come along, tickets are £8 Mike

7. Thanks for the support guys, it's really going to be a fantastic year! So I had my first official gig with the band, on Wednesday at 93 Feet East. Was a good laugh, although there was no bass rig... and having my bass d.i straight into the p.a. sounded awful through the monitors!! Apparently it sounded good from the crowds point of view but so I guess the engineer did a good job. In the pipeline we got a bunch of photo shoots coming up for promo stuff and a months tour to Switzerland in March! Very excited about all this, I need to step up my game BIG TIME! Right, back to learning a thousand new songs... haha

10. I think it's about time I chimed in on this. I applied for an audition after having seen the add on a different website, and ended up getting the position! I'm now the new Skinny machines bass player and have my first gig tomorrow! It's in Shoreditch at the 93 Fleet East. If anyone fancys coming down/up to it there more than welcome! It's going to be an exciting year for considering iv come straight out of uni, playing with a lot of 'bedroom bands' and people who are not really interested in touring as such, and finally in a band that actually is going to be touring for the majority of the year! Iv got a LOT of songs to learn in such a short amount of time, but I can see it being more than worth it! Plus, despite whats been said on this topic they are really great bunch of guys and it's going to be an absolute pleasure working with them.

12. Im not too sure about the wizardry behind ohms and bass equipment, however my markbass ta503 amplifier runs at either 300W at 8 ohms or 500W at 4 ohms and iv only used that amp on this cab. Works absolutely fine, although maybe if you using a higher powered watt amplifier with very different ohm ratings, then problems might happen. I.e. 1500w amps at 16ohms maybe... Hopefully someone might be able to chime in and explain a little as I have no idea really
13. Im selling my Mark bass 6x10 as I have had to downsize my rig to a 4x10 for touring. Condition wise its in very good nick and comes with casters. For the full specs about this cab, visit the Mark bass website (106HF) More photos can be taken on request, Looking for £650 Collected. Can post or drive 1/2 way if needed. Mike.
14. Thanks guys, im just glad its finished... I might tweak the end part in the VERY distant future as i'm sick of watching/hearing the video and I actually ran out of time to fully complete it.
15. Video has FINALLY been completed and now viewable for all to see
16. Thanks for the response guys, I get what you mean about the drums Ed, thats just how they ended up sounding. Literally set up two AKG C414's either side of the kit for the overheads. I just asked my Drummer about the crashes and he said he only used one side for most of the track, which would make sense as to why it sounds so 'one sided'. As for the bass, I did the mix with my monitors connected to a sub... Maybe thats the cause of it being quite bass heavy, although I haven't had a proper go at mastering it yet. I also should have side chained the kick with the bass...maybe that could make it less bass heavy in parts.
17. Hey all, haven't posted on here for a while as iv been a busy one at uni! Im in the process of creating an animated video to this audio track but in the meantime id like to hear some fellow bass players thoughts on how the track sounds/mixed etc... I think iv pretty much got it how I want the track to sound like, maybe a few adjustments hear and there once iv finished the video. *Update* It's been a few weeks since posting this topic and I have finally finished the video. It's a stop-motion animation that consisted of taking just under 4,000 photos and a bit of green screen footage and compiling it all in Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects. Let me know what you think! Mike Super Thursday - On Time 1080p
