1. Hi mate, sorry for the late reply, been ill. To be honest, I think it's a bit wider. It measures about 64mm across the heel, so it would be best to measure your neck pocket. Best regards Freddy

3. Hello, I'm selling a High Quality (Black) J-bass control plate with black screws in mint condition with three black chrome solid brass knurled, dome-top knobs (grub screw fitting) also mint. They cost £27 and were for a project bass that has sat in it's case since completion. please note that the photo shows the hardware with loom, but the loom (pots, input socket) has now been separated and sold. Priced to sell £15 (plus postage) I've also got other black chrome/plastic parts for a full upgrade for a jazz bass for sale. Thanks for looking. Freddy
4. Hello, Firstly, thanks for looking. I'm selling a set of Schaller BMFLB tuners (Blk): fits J and P basses. Exact replicas of the early 70’s period Fender tuners. Mint condition (they still have the plastic underneath the cogs) with bushes and 16 screws: £50 (ovno) This is a link to the Schaller dimensions page for these tuners: https://images4.stat...8_zeichnung.pdf I’m after a set of either Schaller M4 or M4 2000 tuners, must be 2 a side and black, if anyone’s into trades or swaps. Thanks again Freddy
5. Hello, I'm selling a Fretless Jazz bass neck with Fender decal (from a Squier Vintage Modified Fretless model): The neck is in good condition and has been noticeably improved by having the Ebonol (lined) fingerboard planed. The lower part of the headstock has been re-shaped slightly as the Squier head stock is wider than the US Fender style. A great 70’s Fender Jazz Bass waterslide decal (from US) has been added. The truss rod works perfectly. There are two sets of machine head screw holes in the rear of the headstock as I had the larger plated Schaller tuners (for sale above) fitted which covers the existing set, and two sets of neck screw holes on the heel as it was fitted to another body after the original. The nut has been upgraded with a bone nut, but this will need replacing as it has cracked at the G string groove which has been repaired (poorly) by me… Please note that the heel width measures approx. 64mm across. The neck feels great and plays fast with a fairly shallow profile measuring approx. 19mm depth at the nut and 22mm (approx.) at the twelfth fret. I’ll also throw in two scratchplates that were cut to fit the heel, both pearl; one black, one white, ten hole version to fit US Fenders: Due to the nut and the screwholes on the back of the headstock I’m asking £70 (ono) Thanks for looking Freddy
6. Hello and thanks for looking! I’m having a clear out as I need to raise some cash to fund a re-finish on my bass. I’m after a set of either Schaller M4 or M4 2000 tuners, must be 2 a side and black, if anyone’s into trades or swaps. The stuff I’m flogging below is all in great nick and works perfectly. Some of the bits have been on a bass I had put together which sat in its case doing nothing. It got dismantled and the parts have been sat in bags in a drawer. Various parts for J-Bass upgrade to black hardware: · High Quality (Blk) J-bass control plate with black screws and 3 x Black chrome solid brass knurled, dome-top knobs (grub screw fitting), mint: £15 (would separate) * Please note that the photo shows the hardware with loom attached, this has now been separated and sold. · Oval (Blk) jack socket plate for side mounting (still packaged): £2 · Black (on brass) neck plate (Gotoh, I think) with cushion and four black screws. Has a two tiny marks: £9 · Set of black screws (pickguard) £3 · Knurled, dome top, chrome (brass) knobs (grub screw fitting) mint x 2: £4 for pair · Knurled, dome top chrome (brass), upper and lower dual concentric knob (grub screw fitting) mint: £3 · Rear control cavity plate (flat black), shielded: £3 · Semi-padded Gear For Music bag. Good quality, lined and in decent condition (some wear at bottom where rear strap button has rested), has straps and large pocket: £9 All are priced to sell and would be plus postage Thanks again for looking and many thanks to the folks who have bought already Freddy

9. Hello to whoever is reading this and I hope 2015 finds you well. I'm after a medium scale bass, anything considered, any colour or condition and it needs to be light. I'm one of the many suffering with wrist/thumb pains in my fretting hand. I've tried loads of things and spent a lot of bread on my Jazz only to find that (after resting and physio) the pain came back. I'm hoping (as many suggest across the web) that a shorter neck and lighter body will at least help. Thanks for looking Freddy
10. Hi Mikkel, Thanks for the reply. The bass has just been sold, I'm afraid. Thanks anyway. Best regards Freddy
11. Hi mate, Thanks for the reply and sorry to take so long to get back to you. How much are you asking for it? I'm after either a cash sale or mainly money my way (I'm looking to pay for a family holiday...) Best regards Freddy
12. Hi Peter, Thanks for the reply. How much would you like for your Jazz.(it looks really good, by the way). Best regards Freddy
13. Hi mate, Thanks for the reply. That's an awesome bass, I've had an Ibanez 5 before, but I really need the cash (or a PX with mainly cash my way). Many thanks for the offer though and good luck with the sale of yours. Best regards Freddy
14. Cheers anyway, dude and good luck with your sale too. All the best Freddy
