    I've now received an email confirming that my ticket purchase cost has been refunded to me. It's still extremely annoying though that I'm out the travel and hotel cost. It would be good if Janek Gwizdala and Ian Allison manage to arrange a get together for the Sunday.

    That's the email just arrived from the organisers, informing me of the event cancellation (postponement). They're offering two options: 1 - rolling your ticket over to a possible planned event in 2026. Or, 2 - refund of the ticket cost. Needless to say, I've requested a refund!

    Here we are, the afternoon after it was announced that the event had been cancelled (or "postponed"), and I've still received no notification from the organisers regarding this. Hopefully they'll be in touch soon regarding the refund of my £47 ticket. Even if that comes through, I'll still be out of pocket by around £350 for the train travel and hotel cost that I've paid out.

    I'm arriving on Saturday 31st May, and I've now got the Sunday with nothing planned as the show is off, then returning home late on Monday afternoon (I'll most probably pop in to catch up with the guys in The Bass Gallery during the day on Monday).

    I bought this bass so I could have a 5 string in my collection. However, I find that I use 4 string basses whenever I play, sk this fantastic bass has simply sat unused since I bought it (it really should be getting used rather being an ornament in my bass rack). I still have the Sire box, and the outer shipping box the instrument was delivered in when I bought it. Price includes insured delivery in the UK. Go on, treat yourself!

    I too had booked to travel down (from Scotland) to attend the event . I've not received any notification from the organisers regarding their decision, or any news regarding ticket refunds.. Looks like I've now got train and hotel booked, so I guess I'll have a weekend of wandering around London trying to amuse myself instead. Not impressed.
