  1. Stunning condition for age. 1995 Corvette Proline (passive). Includes Thomann hard case and strap locks. Plays like an absolute dream. All original. Nicely figured bubinga body. £350 plus delivery from the Isle of Wight. Final reduction before eBay. Bank transfer only (check my feedback).

  3. I've never quite understood the 'new' price of Warwicks vs. the 'used' price. I've got three now and I've had many more in the past. I would never buy a new one though, not these days.
  4. OK, just had a quick look and your Marlin Rockbass II is different from the old Marlins of yore and indeed yesteryear we are all guffing on about. These can still be picked up on Amazon and are of Indonesian origin. I'm grateful for the 'Making Music' nostalgia though. Gotta run, my mate is bringing his Spectrum games round and I'm going to tape-to-tape them
  5. It was free too! Actually that's probably what happened to it...
  6. I remember drooling over an ad for a Marlin Sidewinder in 'Making Music' (remember that?!). Happy days...
  7. All the Marlins I saw were plywood bodied but were decent looking in their day. No real value these days, apart from nostalgia!
  8. I sent Oli my Stingray 2EQ and in return he sent me his Thumb Bolt-On. He is an absolute pleasure to deal with. I was a little worried as he is in Belgium and I'm in the UK but there was absolutely no need to be. Oli is a total pro and a very nice guy. I can highly recommend dealing with him. Scott.

  10. Sorry guys, I need to put this on hold for now for personal reasons. Sincere apologies.
  11. I live on the Isle of Wight and run a little facebook group called 'Isle of Wight Bass Players'. We've got just over 100 members (most of whom know each other!) and our un-official patron has always been Mark King. Mark is from the Isle of Wight and still lives here so it seemed only fitting that he should be our imaginary figurehead. Anyway, I had the pleasure of hosting the Bestival Bands & DJ's Competition recently over here on the IOW (Bestival is a pretty big festival held over here in September and curated by Radio 1's Rob da Bank - This year Stevie Wonder is headlining) and Mark was one of the judges. Naturally we got talking and once I'd overcome my star-struck nerves, I mentioned that he was our 'un-official' patron. Without even hesitating he said "oh well we had better make that official then!". Here's a pic to prove it! 13. There isn't any damage, it's just been played so there are some VERY light scratches on the pickguard as you would expect.
  14. Thank you everyone for your offers and pm's. I'll do some research as soon as I can Scott
