1.
I would be interested possibly but i'm at the other end of the country...... no chance of courier??? Craig
I'll look into it and send you a Pm.
2. I'll say again, if you were 5mins away what difference would it have made. Your original post sounds like you're taking the piss. Anyway, I'm bored of this now so lets get back to selling shall we. If anyone's actually interested, up for sale is my EBS Neo 212 speaker cab. It's in excellent condition and I'm looking for £450. Just to clarify, I was selling this along with my HD350 head but this has since been bought by a very nice guy who also happens to be another BC member. Cheers Ian. So, its just the cab now. Any takers?
3.
if you'd answered the question we'd both be a bit wiser now, wouldn't we? Ok so I'm still a bit new to this forum thing but anyone else who messaged me has sounded genuinely interested. If you lived 5 mins from Shepherds Bush what difference does it make what part I'm in? If you were interested in the cab why not message me asking if you could come and try it out, something I would have been more than happy to let you do.
4.
no response to my post? I was literally 5 mins down the road from you until Christmas.
Thought you were taking the piss. If you wanted it why not say so.
5.
dude, I wonder if you're serious.
How so?
6. Does anyone know of any good amp repair guys in London? My EBS HD350 is hissing a bit too much. Handy when I'm trying to sell the thing. Cheers, James
7.
Cheaper colour eh? Well mine has paint, Now i can only assume paint costs money and the finish over the top of that. So if anything yours is the cheaper finish And tbh sure mines been modified but is it worth the extra 220 for the same thing without the paint and with the original pickup? (And mine has a Nordstrand which is NOT a cheap pickup.) Sorry for the rant but that comment irked me.
8. Nope the case is definitely included. I've seen another couple around but they've been modified and are cheaper colours. This one is 100% Musicman.
9.
Which version of the head is it? The one which goes to 2 ohms or the one that goes to 4 ohms?
The speaker outputs are 2-8 Ohms
10. Bump. Someone buy this. Its the dogs danglies and is roughly half the price of a new one.
11. Yeah the head's still for sale. I live in Shepherds Bush in west London.
12. These are the exact cabs I'm after. I'm in the process of trying to sell some of my own gear at the moment. Hope you've still got them by the time I have the money. Have a bump.
13. Up for sale is my trusty EBS Neo 212 cab. It is in excellent condition with only minor scuffs on the plastic corners and is fairly light as bass cabs go. I have used this cab with my HD350 head on gigs for the last couple of years and the sound has always been warm and punchy. The only reason I'm selling is to go down the lightweight portable route. I'm looking for £450. Local pickup only please, London area. Cheers, James
14. I'm selling my Musicman Stingray 5 as my gear is rapidly taking over my entire flat. The bass plays great and sounds typically musicman, fat and punchy. The finish is natural with no scratchs or dings. This was my main gigging bass for two years so has been nicely played in. Looking for £850, no trades please. Local pickup only, London area. Cheers, James
15. Depends who the lesson's with. I'd pay £35 if it was Laurence Cottle. I had a lesson booked with Janek Gwizdala which I ended up having to cancel but that was gonna cost £50 I think.
16. I just finished this degree in June. It definitely has good and bad points. Andrew McKinney is a great teacher and very nice bloke. He was my dissertation supervisor and really knows his stuff. Hoping to get some more lessons with him soon. First year was the best in my opinion because you do the most bass playing of the whole course. In 2nd year you'll have to do production and management stuff and in 3rd year there is more production and promotional stuff. I found that as the course went on I did less and less playing. It feels a bit like they have tried to cram a lot of different aspects of the music industry into the 3 years. I've finished the course a better bassist but the biggest improvement was in my recording and production skills. Suppose it depends what you really want to achieve. Hope that helps. James
