Nice one thanks! -
Traded! For Trade: Is my Fender 2008 USA Highway One Precision(Upgraded version) and I would like to trade it for a Highway One Jazz - Upgraded version or a Fender Modern Player Jazz This bass is finished in a nice nitro red/burgundy colour, I don't know the actual colour name - *It's midnight wine*. The finish is pretty thin as you can see the wood grain through it, I've tried to get pictures of it but they haven't come out as well as what it actually looks like. This bass plays really nicely and sounds just like a p bass does. It has a Badass 2 bridge on it. There is a wear patch on the top edge where my arm/wrist has been in contact with it and a few little knocks here and there and also some pick marks, again I've tried getting these in the pictures. The wood grain on the neck is really nice and I have lightly sanded the back of the neck to make it smoother and quicker to play and it feels really nice. I'm in Aylesbury Bucks so can meet up for the trade or I can ship it to the rest of UK if you ship your bass too I think I've covered everything but if you have any questions then please ask! Thanks everyone, yea its a VM. Plays really good, I'm learning all my favourite songs that would be in drop D or played on a 5 string so it's a good challenge. Been playing it loads! Really pleased

That is really nice!

I recently got the VM fiver. Great bass, go for it! I played on the 4 string at my local music shop and it was impressive.
-
Thanks everyone I've played it loads today, the most I have played in about a year or so, up until recently I hadn't touched any of my basses for about 4 months..............so this has kick started me again
-
probably but to me it's a full stack, purposely to block any GAS of another 2x10 But the head can only run at 8ohms and the cab is 8ohms so no chance of adding another cab, which I really don't need for what I want I originally was looking at the Micro VR as it could take 2 2x10s and I thought it would look really good having them side by side with the head in the middle of them but I thought as good as that would be I don't need two cabs or an extra 100 watts or spend another £200!

Looking good! Quick question, I know KiOgon is a member, but what are his pots and harness? I assume it's volume pots but what difference does it make having them?

Thanks! Yea, Something Simple would be pretty good hmmm...... Skidder, I can take a pic with one of my P's if that'll be better I pretty much need to overhaul my whole profile, username, picture, profile info...............

Thanks! Yea a few people now have said I need to change it, I think this will be the 3rd time, I really shouldn't name it after gear......maybe something simple, I'll have a think! Here's a pic to hopefully show the scale of it:

I have now downsized from my Orange Terror Bass 1000 and Barefaced Super 12 to a................. Micro Ampeg CL stack! It came this morning and I played with it for about an hour and a half and I love it already. Was careful that I didn't whack it on loud just to give the speakers some chance of breaking in slowly. I'm no longer in a band so just playing at home so this is more than enough, haven't tried the aux input with my phone yet bit I will soon! Very pleased

I actually got this bass last week but only just got round to posting pics. It's my birthday coming up and so me and the misses went 50/50 on it. It's a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass V. Brilliant bass, really surprised by it, it sounds and plays great and there really isn't anything I can say negative about it! This is my second attempt at getting a fiver, the first one was a Vintage Est96(I think) a five string stingray copy. That was pretty horrible and all the frets were razor sharp and just sounded a bit dull. As it was about the same price as this Squier I was a bit worried I would have similar problems. But as I said everything is great, I've owned various MIM and USA Fenders and this is right up with them if not better than them! Excellent thank you for you inputs, I had thought about the Orange Micro as I had looked at various reviews etc for it. I heard the Ampeg VL was better quality but it's £200 more that I couldn't really afford. I went for the CL in the end, I'll make a thread at some point with pics etc

Very nice, I just got the Olympic White V
