For sale is my Boosey and Hawkes 'ARTIA' Excelsior Double Bass, 3/4 size, built circa 1960, swell back, laminated but nice mature, warm sound. Is totally playable and I have done some Jazz gigs with it. It has a Shadow pick up fitted which is not included in the sale but open to negotiation. Although it sounds ok it would probably benefit from a new set of strings. It has seen some use as you can see from the pics but is solid and came from a reputable restorer so the work is good. Also has a fleecey soft cover included. I am mainly an electric player so at the moment this is surplus to requirements and space needed. Hi Andy, this is my old precision, looks a bit like your pic, but this is a Squier which I stripped, looks cool though!

I've had a few enquiries about the head separately. I really wanted this rig to go complete but if you insist, I'll sell the head for £250, cabs £150. cheers.
