    I've just bought the P bass style Exclusive Fusion 5 String Bass, on a whim, just seemed too good a deal. I'd been looking at them for a few weeks and checked out the Frudua guitars website, still not 100% sure what they're all about. Well, there were 2 on ebay at £499, a sunburst one and a black one, the latter being open to 'make an offer'. Suffice to say I got it for a good discount, enough to think hey whatever, lets go for it. I'm in need of a 5 string for some recording and live stuff so was looking at mid price range basses, £600/£700 mark which doesn't give you much, a Mex Fender or a Sterling MM. I got to say this Bass is mega! for the bucks. Very well made, quality all over and the pick up config and diversity of sounds is excellent. I dont care what you want to see on the Headstock, I'm gonna enjoy playing this baby for many years to come now. I've been a retro/oldie/4 string fender type of guy for the last few years, I've got several Jazz/Precisions, and also had some high end basses, but this has rekindled my interest in 5'ers. If the sunburst one is still there on ebay i suggest you buy it now!! you wont be disappointed. Maybe even haggle on it, i guess they just want it gone.     Having just bought a new Bass and Amp I'm having a clear out and this Bass is surplus to requirements but a regrettable sale. It's a Precision style Bass, I'm not an expert on these things, but it's interesting all the same. It's as i bought it a couple of years ago, except the body has been stripped by me back to the natural wood to reveal a laminate/ply construction of several layers of different woods. It has a Precision logo on the Headstock but the neck has no serial number on the back. All that said, It plays great and sounds great with flat wound strings and I have used it many times live and for recordings and it always sounds fab. It has nicks and scuffs but nothing other than cosmetics which give it a vintage, relic vibe. Its got a pick up screw missing hence a bit of tape. It is what it is, very road worn looking, a one off, don't buy it if you want a genuine Fender. I'm a busy working muso and wouldn't sell you anything that wasn't totally playable and usable but I've got too many basses at the moment. I'll be sad to see it go and at such little money but It'll be a cheap bass for someone. I'll post it in a gig bag inside a padded cardboard guitar box.     For sale is a Leo Quan Badass Bridge III, replacement for Fender American Deluxe, Artist, Custom Shop, Deluxe, American, Classic, Zone Jazz and Precision, 3 hole telecasters, 1950's Precisions and others. As new condition, packaging has been opened but not fitted, has the 3 screws and allen key. These sell for around $110 new in the US and I'm selling for £45 plus postage. [size=5]SOLD![/size] Also another chrome chunky bridge with no name on it, 5 hole fitting, 19mm spacing, in great condition, no screws. £25 plus postage.     Great combo, as new, bought from Basschat member StanS in Oct last year, good workhorse and never let me down. Only selling as have bought something new.     Nibody, i knew it wasnt a kosher fender, and didnt pay much for it, however it plays great and sounds great with flatwounds on it. MiltyG565, its 9.6lbs which i suppose is fairly weighty. cheers.

    thanks for the input guys. seems a lot of work to go to to laminate like this when you could just saw the shape out of a lump of wood. or maybe getting a large enough piece of wood is the problem? anyone else got any similar pics? cheers.
