1. Fishman Platinum Pro-EQ Bass for sale. Great little preamp that I have used successfully with all my upright basses. Haven't got the box unfortunately. The RRP is apparently £199 but they do obviously sell for less than that, how about £100 + postage or collected from South London. 6. £750? Im not entirely sure how to price this, because of the pickup mod, but it is still a mid sixties fender with tons of vibe... will try and put up a couple sound clips!
7. As far as I know, few dings around the usual places but otherwise very clean... Currently away working but when home can post a few close up shots!
8. Having just bough an early 19th century English double bass, funds aren't exactly plentiful at the moment....
9. I have a rather unusual but fun little bass for sale. It is a 1967 Fender Mustang Bass (confirmed by stamp on neck, and the number on the neck plate thing). It has been routed and fitted with a precision bass pick up, apparently its a fender and was done sometime in the seventies, but don't know how to confirm this. It is a pleasure to play, and has a really beefy old school sound, currently strung with very heavy flat wounds. Great for the seventies Average White Band sound, motown thud and is surprisingly versatile. Only reason for selling is that some bastard nicked my amp over the weekend. Only trades I would consider are for a LM3 or mark bass cabs + or - cash either way. Am based in South London, but travel a lot with gigs so might be able to meet in a place more convenient. Not sure how to value this but say £850 ono....

15.
Chris, I presume you took the passione's? I'd be interested to know what you think of them.
The passione's went elsewhere actually, however there is another set that a friend of mine is selling. Where on his bass for less than a week if you are interested. They are an interesting string, very easy to play with right hand - speak quickly and catch very well if you know what i mean. They are a very resonant string and I think work very well on larger instruments - another friend of mine has them on his old english bass and it sounds like a tank, but whilst they were very resonant on the bass i tried them on, they weren't very piercing... all subjective, and vary from bass to bass like always!
