Can you please tell us the make and source of these items. I would love to buy them as they are perfect for a project I'm planning but I really would need to know these details buddy. If they are a reputable brand then these prices seem very reasonable however if they are an unknown brand then they may not be such great value.

Old Marky D would put a bit of spin on it though and filled in that gap with some window putty and sand it down smooth as Leo would have intended, so as to enhance the acoustic resonance on a sonic level but not interfere with its audible integrity. Throw in a few pictures of him in the garden with some dancing kids and hey presto you've got a marketing extravaganza.

It doesn't even make sense on any level. How would deepening the pocket lower the action. I would not only give the guitar a wide berth I also reckon the seller needs to be avoided at all costs, he has a chisel and he ain't afraid to use it. Aaaaaaggggghhhhhh.

Some say (including myself at first) that this bass would only do mud - mine is strung (string thru body BTW) with Roto flats and with the tone on it sounds amazing. The neck is super fast, really comfortable to play and makes my P bass feel like a baseball bat. Bought a few months ago from Manchester Bass lounge and immediately did the following 'mods'

1) Custom made (BassDoc) white-Black-white guard. Why these basses didnt come with these as standard ill never know. Lokks so much better than the standard Black guard (which ill dig out and also suuply)

2) Added genuine fender bridge cover to give it the proper Telecaster look.

3) Bought a thumb rest to add under the humbucker but never fitted it - will supply also

4) Finally, fitted it with rotosound flats to give it a whackin great wallop to the sound. If desired ill restring it with the DR Fatbeam Rounds i stuck on it whilst waiting for the flats.

Will supply a battered hard case that just does the job of protecting the bass. Its covered in Oasis clippings on one side and Beatles clippings on the other. Looks cool but weighs a tone and is battered. Good for storage tho.

Isn't the scale on these weird or something. I can't quite remember but didn't someone on here a problem fitting one of these necks to precision body. Lovely guitar though. Looks real honky Tonk.

It's a bit raped looking for me. Apparently it's been in a lab under experimental conditions. You could pick up a pretty decent one for not a whole lot more.

You've just added an Affinity neck to a body you know fine well is a Jim Deacon. I sold you the complete bass when you were using your [b]Shippers1[/b] account. The markings on the pick guard match with photo's I still have of that bass. don't try saying you've fitted it on a Squier body as I tried that plate on a few Squier's I own and it doesn't cover the control cavity route on any of them. Another thing nice try adding the bridge cover, sadly though it doesn't fit properly, you can still see the screws on the front edge of the bridge, anyone with a bit of savvy knows Squier's have the standard 5 screws along the rear edge of the bridge. pull it or re-list it with a genuine description or I'll report it![/font][/color][/size]

No it's not you, these are getting more and more destroyed as he goes on. I think he is becoming desensitised to the whole process. Why didn't you put £400 as your bid if that's what you were willing to pay. Forgive me but I find the psyche of the eBay bidder fascinating.

If you mentioned in the heading that it's maple fretboard you might draw more viewers. This neck is a steal. I'm amazed no one has bought it.
