These are still here everyone, possible mid week bump coming up.

Can you please tell us the make and source of these items. I would love to buy them as they are perfect for a project I'm planning but I really would need to know these details buddy. If they are a reputable brand then these prices seem very reasonable however if they are an unknown brand then they may not be such great value.
    Thank you.

This is one of the ones Mark D Philips didn't want to be seen with
Old Marky D would put a bit of spin on it though and filled in that gap with some window putty and sand it down smooth as Leo would have intended, so as to enhance the acoustic resonance on a sonic level but not interfere with its audible integrity. Throw in a few pictures of him in the garden with some dancing kids and hey presto you've got a marketing extravaganza.

This one hurts to do but its got to go to make way for my next project.

My Squier VM telecaster bass with bloody loud humbucker pickup. Some say (including myself at first) that this bass would only do mud - mine is strung (string thru body BTW) with Roto flats and with the tone on it sounds amazing. Defined and packs a punch like no other bass ive had. A real 'thud' then pleasant ring to the tone.

The neck is super fast, really comfortable to play and makes my P bass feel like a baseball bat. Bought a few months ago from Manchester Bass lounge and immediately did the following 'mods'

    1) Custom made (BassDoc) white-Black-white guard. Why these basses didnt come with these as standard ill never know. Lokks so much better than the standard Black guard (which ill dig out and also suuply)

    2) Added genuine fender bridge cover to give it the proper Telecaster look.

    3) Bought a thumb rest to add under the humbucker but never fitted it - will supply also

    4) Finally, fitted it with rotosound flats to give it a whackin great wallop to the sound. If desired ill restring it with the DR Fatbeam Rounds i stuck on it whilst waiting for the flats.

Will supply a battered hard case that just does the job of protecting the bass. Its covered in Oasis clippings on one side and Beatles clippings on the other. Looks cool but weighs a tone and is battered. Good for storage tho.

Poor quaily Iphone pic at the mo but will upload more soon

Asking £230 ONO in total collected from Manchester. Will deliver locally if needs be

Currently at £10 I think I'll have to go for the sniper bid option right at the very last second. I bet the guy who built this guitars nan has a tele shaped hole in her dining room table. She's stood there thinking what the ...........after she laid down the tea pot and a plate of scones and the whole lot fell through the table cloth and landed on the parque floor revealing the atrocity. Little bastard she exclaimed to Ethyl and Glenda who were really looking to their afternoon tea.

It had 4 days to run, had 14 bids and upto £170 so I sent him this!

You've just added an Affinity neck to a body you know fine well is a Jim Deacon. I sold you the complete bass when you were using your Shippers1 account. The markings on the pick guard match with photo's I still have of that bass. don't try saying you've fitted it on a Squier body as I tried that plate on a few Squier's I own and it doesn't cover the control cavity route on any of them. Another thing nice try adding the bridge cover, sadly though it doesn't fit properly, you can still see the screws on the front edge of the bridge, anyone with a bit of savvy knows Squier's have the standard 5 screws along the rear edge of the bridge. pull it or re-list it with a genuine description or I'll report it!

    Dear unraveled1962,

I will pull it and re-list it with a full description.
    thanks

You really are a hero of mine. I mean that sincerely.

he needs to engage the services of Mr. Philips to sort these instruments out for for him and to then market them properly
It's all about the marketing. Philips is a silver tongued fox, he'd sell sh*t to an arsehole, and he does everyday. We could all learn from him. I reckon if he put as much effort into any other business he'd be a gazillionaire.

or are these relic jobs getting more and more extreme?

Here's the latest from our old friend mihajloperss over on the 'Bay...

    http://www.ebay.co.u...=item231e66680b

A few months ago, he had a Tele Bass which was quite tempting (if you like that sort of thing...) -beaten up, but still recognisable as a musical instrument. These more recent things look like they've dug up from the ruins of Pompeii, set fire to and then used to prop open the doors to Hell. They make Rory Gallaghers Strat look like a box fresh 2012 model.

I mean, I like a bit of 'Mojo', but really...

I wonder if he'd ever do a Steinberger headless...?
No it's not you, these are getting more and more destroyed as he goes on. I think he is becoming desensitised to the whole process. It's the equivalent of browsing for porn the sh*t you look at gets more and more depraved as you become desensitised to the usual slap and tickle(or so I'm told by my friend who's a pervert, ahem). This particular guitar is of Japanese origin, Hiroshima to be precise.

Against my better judgement bid a little bit early and got sniped by a tenner! £360 still seems a cracking price. I would of gone up to £400 had I had time to bid again. Oh well back to CMD102 lust!
Why didn't you put £400 as your bid if that's what you were willing to pay. Forgive me but I find the psyche of the eBay bidder fascinating.
