1. Here's my board
2. I ordered a BT7 for my Sterling SB14 and it's a perfect fit!
3. I'd seen the Voodoo Labs power supplies but discounted them due to the cost just to run one pedal. However, thanks to Gareth, I think Diago have the answer! Their Micropower unit is small enough to fit under my pedalboard and I can use the IEC outlet on the side of the Power System to run it. That would be easier than me cracking open a 9v wall wart supply and mounting it in a project box with an IEC lead as well a a lot safer than my electronics work!!
4. Just wondering how people are powering their M5 units when used on a pedalboard. I have one that I was running from one of the variable outlets on the MXR CAE Power System, but I have recently had issues with the unit blinking and rebooting, so I have had to go back to the ugly Line 6 wall wart, which has mucked up a tidy looking pedalboard. I'd love to hear what other users are doing, in case there's a more elegant solution I could employ.
5. Are you looking for any trades with alternative tuners or other pedals?
6. For sale is this Peavey Dyna Bass International Series 4 string bass in a blackburst finish. It's a passive model with 2 soapbar pickups. Controls are a volume and tone for each pickup. It is fitted with Elixir strings. A solid bass which plays well and is in good condition. Looking for £80 plus shipping. Bass is located in NW London, but I work in High Wycombe and regularly travel to Hemel Hempstead. I'm happy to arrange meeting the buyer somewhere mutually convenient too. 10. Does anyone with the Classic J 4 find the bridge pickup a little too polite and quiet when compared to the P pickup? I'm thinking of changing it for something a little more usable, but will anything improve it or is that just the sound of a J bridge pickup?
11. I bought a Digitech Synthwah pedal from Bill. He kept me notified throughout the process and I got the pedal next day. He's a good guy to buy from :-)
12. I've treated myself to both a Contemporary J 5 and a CAR Classic J. I've had very complementary comments from people about both basses.

Greetings!

Hello all, I'm Richard from NW London. I was put onto this place by fretmeister, so you can all thank him for me registering! I've played geetar for years and learnt double bass at school, so have always enjoyed playing bass and just recently joined a rock covers band as their bass player. This was a perfect excuse to go out and buy a couple of those lovely new Tanglewood Overwater basses, so I now have the classic PJ 4 in Candy Apple Red and the Contemporary J 5 string in blue! Looking forward to learning some tips form you all, chatting about new kit and mybe picking up a bargain or two in the ads. I'm on the looout for a gigging amp right now, so will be reading up on the Markbass combos and the Ibby Promethean. Rich
