  1. I bought a Concorde used in 1982 I think.  Brilliant bass. That thing has been through hell, including a cracked headstock and me setting it on fire. Still play it,  still love it.

  2. Update: I raised a PayPal dispute and suddenly, still with no communication of any kind, my order arrived today. Obviously the dispute was the impetus needed to get them shifted. I doubt I'll use them again though. Shame.

  3. Bugger. Placed a £20 order with them 3 weeks ago and I’ve seen / heard nothing. I’ve emailed them and tried phoning , to no avail. Did not know they had gone so downhill. Think I’ll have to raise a PayPal dispute.

  4. Have a look at the Dr J series of bass pedals from Joyo. I got the Sparrow DI and think it's excellent. Nice gritty overdrive with the added advantage of a DI pedal. No loss of low end.

If you want fuzz or really heavy distortion, try the Little Bear which is a Woolly Mammoth clone. Fantastic, built like a tank and cheap as chips.

  5. We used to have a certifiably nuts neighbour who complained about everything (really, everything) especially our cats. It got so bad I used to dread coming in from work in case of a confrontation. It was a little old lady with obvious issues so we just got on with things as best we could.  We did get some petty revenge one drunken night by taking all her plant pots and placing them in different gardens up and down the road. Felt great :) When she finally left it was paradise! Good neighbours are invaluable, trust me.
